EGYETÉRTÉS / EGYET NEM ÉRTÉS NYELVTANI KIFEJEZÉSE (…is, … sem) EGYETÉRTÉS Beszédünk során sokszor helyeslőleg reagálunk a valaki által tett kijelentésre, azaz jelezzük, hogy ugyanazt gondoljuk, érezzük, tesszük stb. (pl. Én is. I like spinach.(Szeretem a spenótot.) So do I. (Én is.) I can ski. (Tudok síelni.) I am reading. (Olvasok.)
So can I. (Én is.) So am I. (Én is.)
Kate lives in London and so does Peter. (Kate Londonban lakik, és Peter is.) My parents have travelled to Paris, and so have my friends. (A szüleim Párizsba utaztak, és a barátaim is.) They saw that film, and so did we. (Látták azt a filmet, és mi is.) You must go home and so must Eve. (Haza kell menned, és Eve-nek is.) ► Másképp, módosító szavak használatával is kifejezhető: ALSO – az ige elé kell tenni pl. I also like spinach. (Én is szeretem a spenótot.) TOO – a mondat végére tesszük – kétféle jelentése lehet: a) vonatkozhat a cselekvésre – ilyenkor a ’too’ szót vesszővel választjuk el: pl. I like spinach, too. (Én is szeretem a spenótot.) b) vonatkozhat a tárgyra – ilyenkor nincs vessző: pl. I like spinach too. (A spenótot is szeretem.) (I like spinach.) Me too. (Ilyenkor az I személyes névmás határozós alakját használják!)
AS WELL – a mondat végére tesszük – ugyanúgy használjuk, mint a ’too’ szót, de ez választékosabb – ennek ugyanúgy kétféle jelentése lehet: a) vonatkozhat a cselekvésre – ilyenkor az ’as well’ kifejezést vesszővel választjuk el: pl. I like spinach, as well. (Én is szeretem a spenótot.) b) vonatkozhat a tárgyra – ilyenkor nincs vessző: pl. I like spinach as well. (A spenótot is szeretem.) „… sem” NEITHER + segédige + alany vagy: NOR ↓ Itt is azt a segédigét kell megismételnünk, amely az állításban elhangzó igeidőnek / modális jelentésnek felel meg, de ÁLLÍTÓ FORMÁBAN (a ’neither/nor’ már tagad, és nincs kettős tagadás az angolban)! pl. I don’t like spinach.(Nem szeretem a spenótot) Neither do I. / Nor do I. (Én sem.) ↓ ↓ Tagadó segédige. Ugyanaz a segédige, de nem tagadó alakban. I can’t ski. (Nem tudok síelni.) Neither can I. / Nor can I. (Én sem.) They didn’t see that film, and neither/nor did we. You needn’t go home and neither/nor need Eve. (Nem kell hazamenned, és Eve-nek sem.) (Itt a needn’t – tel ellentétes értelembena ”must is használható: You needn’t go home and neither must Eve.) You mustn’t stay there, and neither can I. (Nem szabad ott maradnod, és nekem sem.)
► Másképp, módosító szó használatával is kifejezhető: EITHER – a mondat végére tesszük – ugyanúgy kétféle jelentése lehet, mint a ’too’-nak és az ’as well’-nek: a) vonatkozhat a cselekvésre – ilyenkor a ’either’ szót vesszővel választjuk el: pl. I don’t like spinach, either. (Én sem szeretem a spenótot.) b) vonatkozhat a tárgyra – ilyenkor nincs vessző: pl. I don’t like spinach either. (A spenótot sem szeretem.)
EGYET NEM ÉRTÉS, ELLENVÉLEMÉNY Néha nem értünk egyet a valaki által tett kijelentéssel, azaz jelezni akarjuk, hogy ellenkezőleg gondoljunk, érzünk, tesszünk valamit. (pl. I like spinach.(Nem szeretem a spenótot) ↓ Állító (pozitív) kijelentés Present Simple-ben.
I don’t. (Én nem.) ↓ A Present Simple segédigéje, de ellenkező előjellel (tagadó alakban).
I don’t like spinach.(Nem szeretem a spenótot) I do.
