EU project: PicknPack
FP7 project “automation in food packaging systems” ● 14 partners (onderzoeksinstituten en bedrijven) ● 14 M€ (9 M€ subsidie)
Coördinatie door Wageningen UR ● Greenhouse Horticulture (Erik Pekkeriet) ● Food and Biobased Research
Voedselverwerkende industrie
PicknPack – Flexible food processing systems
PicknPack
Integratie/communicatie Tracking/tracing Hygiëne Life cycle analysis
Integration of modules An open multipoint framework No rigid interfaces to a network and not only exchange of necessary information to control the line. Also exchange of data on traceability, food quality and to realise a changeover to another product. A structured way of dealing with the integration-level challenges of making flexibly adaptable systems out of a large number of modular components: • integrated view on the composition of large-scale, data driven, modular, multi-vendor systems, built upon a small number of "simplexity" insights and design patterns. • design of a "component model" that identifies the different types of activities that a module can have. • providing "ontology" guidelines and tools to support expert knowledge extraction and representation, that can be adapted to a specific application domain. • identification of the various stakeholders that must interact with the kind of systems this project wants to support. For each stakeholder, customized workflows and graphical user interfaces (GUIs) will be designed, with a maximum reuse of the stakeholder-independent data and information infrastructure.
Waarnemingsmodule
Doel: kwaliteitsbepaling Scala aan sensoren ● Kleur, hyperspectraal (Wageningen UR, KU Leuven) ● 3D (Wageningen UR) ● X-ray(KU Leuven, Spectroscan) ● Microwave sening (U. Manchester)
