Pendahuluan Introduction Amartha Microfinance (Amartha) yang beroperasi sebagai badan hukum Koperasi Amartha Indonesia merupakan institusi yang berorientasi pada bisnis sosial. Misi Amartha memfokuskan kepada pelayanan jasa keuangan terjangkau untuk masyarakat prasejahtera di pelosok pedesaan, sehingga mereka dapat mengejar kehidupan dengan tujuan yang lebih besar. Amartha memajukan misi sosialnya dalam mengurangi kemiskinan melalui layanan pendidikan keuangan dasar dan pengorganisasian masyarakat yang melengkapi pelayanan jasa keuangannya.
Amartha Microfinance (Amartha) which legally operates as Koperasi Amartha Indonesia is a socially oriented enterprise. Amartha’s mission focuses on affordable financial services for the low-income people in remote rural areas, so that they can pursue life with greater purpose. Amartha promotes its social mission in reducing poverty through basic financial literacy and community organising that complement its financial services.
Amartha menerapkan model bisnis pembiayaan kelompok grameen serta dilengkapi dengan produk tabungan sukarela dengan prinsip syariah (Islamic Microfinance). Amartha memberikan pembiayaan dengan jangka waktu 50 minggu dengan mekanisme bagi hasil yang disepakati bersama di awal. Seluruh anggota Amartha adalah perempuan. Setiap kelompok terdiri dari 5 anggota dan kemudian 3 atau 4 kelompok membentuk satu majelis. Anggota membayar angsuran setiap minggu dengan didampingi oleh pendamping lapangan Amartha. Seluruh anggota Amartha memahami secara penuh prinsip tanggung renteng atau prinsip tanggung jawab bersama, di mana apabila ada anggota yang tidak mengangsur pada pertemuan mingguan, maka menjadi kewajiban bersama bagi seluruh anggota majelis untuk menanggung angsuran yang tidak terbayarkan tersebut.
Amartha applies the business model of grameen group-based lending and equipped with voluntary saving product with sharia principle (Islamic Microfinance). Amartha provides financing with a 50 week-tenor using a profitsharing mechanism that is mutually agreed upon. All Amartha members are women. Each group consists of 5 members and then 3 or 4 groups form a majelis (gathering). Members pay instalment every week and are accompanied by Amartha’s field officers. All Amartha members fully understand the collective responsibility principle or shared responsibility principle, in which if there is a member fails to meet her instalment on the weekly meeting, and then it becomes a mutual obligation for her fellow members in the majelis to cover the unpaid instalment.
Laporan ini menyajikan informasi operasional dan keuangan Amartha untuk kuartal pertama 2013 (Januari – Maret)/1K2013. Hingga akhir 1K2013, Amartha telah menjangkau jumlah keanggotaan sebanyak 2.636 anggota yang merupakan gabungan dari dua cabang yang Amartha miliki di Ciseeng dan Jasinga, Kabupaten Bogor. Tingkat Portofolio Beresiko atau tingkat keterlambatan pembayaran di atas 30 hari terhadap seluruh portofolio pembiayaan Amartha dapat dikelola pada angka 0%.
This report presents Amartha’s operational and financial information for the first quarter 2013 (January-March)/12013. By the end of 1Q2013, Amartha had reached 2.636 members in membership which were a consolidation of the two branches established in Ciseeng and Jasinga, Bogor regency. Portfolio at Risk or the level of past due instalments for more than 30 days over Amartha’s total outstanding portfolio had been maintained at 0%.

Sampai dengan 1K2013, Amartha telah menyalurkan: pembiayaan putaran pertama, yaitu maksimal Rp 1 juta, kepada 1,653 anggota; pembiayaan putaran kedua, yaitu maksimal Rp 2 juta, kepada 746 anggota; dan pembiayaan putaran ketiga, yaitu maksimal Rp 3 juta, kepada 212 anggota.

Rp 253,98 juta merupakan saldo portofolio tabungan dari 2.617 anggota yang aktif menabung pada akhir 1K2013. Anggota yang aktif menabung adalah anggota yang masih menyetorkan tabungan wajib setiap minggunya. Total tabungan yang masuk selama 1K2013 adalah Rp 282,78 juta, 17% lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan total tabungan yang masuk selama 4K2012 (Rp 241,78 juta).
RP 253.98 million was the savings balance from 2.617 members who actively save their money as at 1Q2013. Active savings members are those who continue to deposit their mandatory savings every week. Total money deposited during 1Q2013 was Rp 282.78 million, which was 17% higher as compared to the money deposited during 4Q2012 (Rp 241.78 million).
Terus meningkatnya tabungan anggota menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman anggota akan manfaat menabung dan juga menunjukkan peningkatan kepercayaan mereka terhadap Amartha.
Continuous rise in the members’ savings demonstrate an increase in members’ understanding of the benefits of saving and also an increase in their confidence in Amartha.

Produktifitas dan Efisiensi Productivity and Efficiency Anggota baru selama 1K2013 tercatat sebanyak 376 anggota. Angka penumbuhan anggota ini 3 kali lipat lebih tinggi dari 1K2012 yaitu 105 anggota.
The number of new members during 1Q2013 was recorded at 376 members. This member growth figure was three times higher than that in 1Q2012 i.e. 105 members.
Anggota per Pendamping Lapangan. Rasio pada Maret 2013 adalah 264 anggota per pendamping lapangan. Rasio ini sedikit di bawah Desember 2012 (301 per pendamping lapangan) karena masuknya 2 pendamping lapangan baru yang masih berstatus trainee (belum melakukan pelayanan anggota secara penuh).
Members per Field Officer. Ratio in March 2013 was 264 members per field officer. This ratio was slightly below December 2012 (301 per field officer) due to the inclusion of 2 new field officers whose statuses are still trainees (they had not performed a full service to members on their own).
Portofolio per Pendamping Lapangan. Saldo portofolio per pendamping lapangan per Maret 2013 adalah Rp 200 juta dengan 10 pendamping lapangan.
Portfolio per Field Officer. Outstanding portfolio per field officer was per March 2013 was Rp 200 million with 10 field officers.

Pengembangan Kapasitas Manusia & Penguatan Institusi Human Capacity and Institutional Building Selama 1K2013, Amartha mengadakan berbagai program yang ditujukan untuk mengembangkan kapasitas individu dan penguatan institusi. Program-program ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat kerjasama tim dan mendorong aktualisasi diri pada setiap individu di dalam Amartha yang berujung kepada kemajuan institusi secara keseluruhan.
During 1Q2013, Amartha held a variety of programs aimed at developing the capacity of individuals and strengthening the institution. These programmes were expected to strengthen teamwork and encourage each individual’s self-actualization in Amartha that led to the advancement of the institution as a whole.
Pada tanggal 28-31 Januari 2013, Amartha On 28-31 January 2013, Amartha conducted an melakukan penguatan institusi yang didukung in-house institutional building supported by oleh MicroSave. MicroSave. Penguatan institusi ini menitikberatkan kepada standarisasi proses pengrekrutan pendamping lapangan dan juga pembuatan modul-modul pelatihan untuk manajer cabang.

Selanjutnya pada tanggal 8-9 Maret 2013, Furthermore on 8-9 March 2013, Amartha Team Amartha mengadakan Team Building di Building in Megamendung, West Java. Megamendung, Jawa Barat. Kemudian pada tanggal 19-20 Maret 2013, kelas pelatihan manajerial diberikan oleh manajemen senior dan manajer cabang senior kepada pendamping lapangan senior sebagai upaya mempersiapkan mereka untuk mengemban tugas sebagai manajer cabang di masa depan. Topik pelatihan ini meliputi topik-topik terkait manajemen lapangan, manajemen karyawan, manajemen cabang, dan manajemen kinerja.
Moreover, on 19-20 March 2013, a managerial training class was provided by the senior management and senior branch managers to the senior field officers as an effort to prepare them to serve as branch managers in the future. The training covered the topics related to field management, employee management, branch management, and performance management.

Penghargaan Accolade Pada tanggal 26 Maret 2013 Amartha, diwakili oleh Ketua, menerima penghargaan dari Top Coffee Anugrah Indonesia Muda BerkArya 2013. Apresiasi ini diberikan untuk menghormati generasi muda Indonesia yang menginspirasi orang lain untuk melakukan perbaikan hidup bagi orang di sekitarnya.
On 26 March 2013, Amartha, represented by the Chairman, received an accolade from Top Coffee Anugrah Indonesia Muda Berkarya 2013. The appreciation was given to honour young Indonesians who inspire others to do life improvement for people surround them.

Total aset bernilai Rp 2,5 miliar hingga akhir Total assets were Rp 2.5 billion by the end of 1K2013. Piutang pembiayaan anggota adalah 1Q2013. The members financing receivables sebesar Rp 2 miliar atau 80% dari total aset. were Rp 2 billion or 80% of the total assets. Total kewajiban bernilai Rp 1,8 miliar hingga akhir 1K2013, di mana komposisi 45% merupakan hutang pembiayaan. Sementara itu, modal pada akhir 1K2013 adalah Rp 669 juta. Rasio kewajiban per modal adalah 273%.

Rata-rata pendapatan pembiayaan per bulan The average financing income per month during selama 1K2013 adalah sekitar Rp 77 juta. 1Q2013 was approximately Rp 77 million. Rata-rata beban operasional per bulan adalah The average operating expense per month was Rp 45 juta. Rp 45 million. Selama 1K2013, beban gaji mencapai 70% dari seluruh beban operasional setiap bulannya.

Rencana untuk Kuartal 2 Tahun 2013 Plan for Quarter 2 Year 2013 Jangkauan Cabang ketiga Amartha yang berlokasi di kecamatan Bojonggede akan efektif beroperasi di akhir April 2013.
Outreach Amartha’s third branch which is located in Bojonggede District will effectively operate by end of April 2013.
Selanjutnya Amartha akan melakukan survei untuk wilayah pelayan cabang ke-empat di awal Mei 2013. Cabang keempat diharapkan akan efektif beroperasi di Juli 2013.
Next, Amartha is going to conduct a survey for the service area for the fourth branch at the beginning of May 2013. The forth branch is expected to effectively operate by July 2013.

Perekrutan dan Penguatan Karyawan dan Manajemen Pada 2K2013, Amartha akan terus memfokuskan perhatian terhadap perekrutaan pendamping lapangan dalam rangka pembukaan cabang kelima di akhir 3K2013. Proses pelatihan karyawan dan manajemen terus dilakukan dengan ikutsertakan pada pelatihan internal maupun eksternal.
Staff and Management Recruitment and Reinforcement In 2Q2013, Amartha will continue to focus on the recruitment of branch managers and field officers in order to open the fifth branch at the end of 3Q2013. The training process for staff and management continue to take place by engaging them in the internal as well as the external training.
Managemen dan Tata Kelola Pengembangan manajemen sistem informasi akan terus dilakukan di 2K2013 untuk mendukung kegiatan pelayanan, pengawasan, dan evaluasi di Amartha.
Management and Governance The development of management information system will continue to be carried out in 2Q2013 to support service, monitoring, and evaluation activities in Amartha.
Kemudian, penguatan permodalan akan terus dilakukan dengan mendorong kemitraan dengan berbagai pihak seperti penanam modal individu, program kemitraan korporasi, dan pinjaman dari bank komersil.
