Adatok a háziveréb-fiókák (Passer domesticus) táplálkozásához Dr. Rékási József A táplálkozásbiológiai vizsgálatok m i n d tudományos, m i n d g y a k o r l a t i szempontból nagy jelentőségűek. Mégis igen kevés dolgozat jelent meg e faj táplálkozásáról (Gyurka et. a l . , 1959; Rékási, 19(58,). N e m szabad alábecsülni e nagy populációban élő, urbanizálódott, állandóan i t t tartózkodó házi verebek jelentőségét, és fontos megismerni tápláléku kat. A n y a g és módszer A táplálkozásbiológiai vizsgálatokat a Nemzetközi Biológiai P r o g r a m ( I B P ) keretén belül végeztük 1908—19fi9-ben (Pinowski—Kendeigh, 1977). A háziveréb-fiókák táplál kozását nyakelkötéses — ligatura — módszerrel (a), és egész napon át történő fiókaetetés megfigyelésével végeztük (b). a) A fiókák nyelőcsövét a Lengyel Tudományos Akadémiától kapott műanyag zsineggel szorítottuk le. Vigyáztunk, hogy ne sérüljön meg a légcső és a gerincoszlop, f g y lehetővé vált a szülők által egy óra a l a t t hordott táplálék elemzése. A meteorológiai a d a t o k a t is mindenkor feljegyeztük. A vizsgálatokat a Bácsalmási T s z (4(i°10' N ; 19°20' E) majorjá nak kocsiszín falán, 2,4 m magasan fészkelő háziveréb-fiókákon végeztük el egy 24 fészek ből álló kolóniában. A tsz-major udvarán búzamagtárat, kukoricagórét, tehénistállót, sertésólakat, trágyadombot, közvetlen közelében pedig szántóföldet és legelőt találtunk. b) ^4 fiókaetetés aktivitását az első és a második költés idején a 32. sz. fészekben sike rült megfigyelnünk 1969. V . 18-án és V I . 22-én. Időjárás: május 18-án reggel 5 órától 7 óráig vihar volt, de utána k i t i s z t u l t és a hőmérséklet 20 °C-ra emelkedett. A 32. sz. fé szektől 30 m-re helyezkedtünk el, s távcsővel figyeltük egész n a p o n át a fiókaetetést.

Eredmények r
a) A z első költés idején májusban 3 egyhetes fiókáv al egy esetben, júniusban 4 egyhetes fiókával két esetben és a h a r m a d i k költés idején augusztusban 3 egyhetes, 4 tíznapos és 4 tizenkétnapos fiókával kilenc a l k a l o m m a l végeztük a megfigyelést. A szájüregben egy órán át összegyűlt táplálék elemzését az 1. táblázatban m u t a t j u k be. A magtár előtti talajon sok elhullott búzaszem volt, és innen hordták a fiókáknak a táp lálékot. A káros r o v a r o k a t a közeli kukoricaföldről (mórpoloska) és legelőről (olaszsáska) szedték össze a házi verebek. A fészkelési időben óriási hasznot hajtanak a növénytermesz tésnek a káros r o v a r o k pusztításával. A légylárvákat inkább reggel, a n a g y o b b termetű zöld lombszöcskét, a káros sáskafajokat általában a hideg, esős időben, a legváltozatosabb táplálékot a déli órákban hordták a fiókáknak. ábrán m u t a t j u k be. A z első költés alkalmával a szülők 157 a l k a l o m m a l , óráidvént 10,5-szer, a második költés idején 140-szer, óránként csak 9-szer etettek, noha most 5 fióka volt a fészekben. A z első költés alkalmával a tojó 2,5-szer többet etetett, m i n t a hím, a második költés alkalmával megközelítőleg egyforma intenzitással etetett mindkét szülő. A z első költés alkalmával az óránkénti etetések m a x i m u m a : 21, a második költéskor: 32. A z első költéskor a tojó 5 -kor h a g y t a el a fészket, és 5 - k o r etetett először. A második költéskor a hím h a g y t a el először a fészket, 5,- -kor, de a tojó etetett most is először, (i -kor. A z etetések alkalmával a szülők általában egy percet töltöttek a fészekben. A fiókaetetést napi három m a x i m u m jellemzi. A z első 9—10 óra között (21,80 etetés), a második 13—14 óra között (21,14 ete tés) és az utolsó 18—19 óra között (7,32 etetés) volt és az 1. ábra m u t a t j a be. A hím általában a tojót elkísérte a fészekhez, és vigyázott az etetés alatt. A déli órákban inkább közösen etet tok. H a a szülők egyszerre érkeztek a fészekhez, i l y e n k o r m i n d i g a tojó etetett először. E s t e a tojó h a g y t a előbb abba a f i ó k a e t e t é s t (1 8- ; 18"' ), a hím a fiókák etetése befejezése után elszállt vizet i n n i egy közeli pocsolyához, és néhány perc múlva ő is a fészekbe szállt éjszakai pihenésre. Tanulmányon i m a 1 o j e l e n t ő s madárfaj fiókáinak táplálkozásbiológiai vizsgálatához kí vántam a d a t o k a t szolgáltatni, és ezzel az I B P magevő m a d a r a k k a l foglalkozó csoport munkáját magyarországi a d a t o k k a l igyekeztem segíteni. 07
