Question: What are the Places of tourist destinations which have potential in tourism, but still needs more promotion / should be shown again?
King of Tabanan: Some buildings in Bali, particularly Tabanan regency are a history witness and culture of Bali, Indonesia. Buildings that have historical value, as Tabanan castle or the residence of the King of Tabanan demonstrate the quality and diversity of Indonesian culture.
Question: What is the "strength" or "uniqueness" from these tourist destinations?
King of Tabanan: The construction castle Tabanan or Puri Taban is a reflection from the history and Tabanan royal journey. Puri Tabanan has a very distinctive uniqueness of each and every building was made with carved ornaments that require very high accuracy.

Question: What are the activities have been undertaken by local governments or the Bali Tourism Office, to promote / displayed more on places these tourism destination?
King of Tabanan: Until now, the government of Indonesia does not have some program and budget to promote Puri Tabanan or Tabanan castle, which is a historic place. This is because Revenue and Expenditure Budget of Bali’s local government did not cover Tabanan Castle as a place that needs to be promoted. In contrast, with Tanah Lot, which was got support from local government, because Tanah Lot already famous until abroad. Question: Is the local government involving the private sector to participate to develop these tourism destination places?
King of Tabanan: Until now there has no government involving, considering the historical places in Bali spread in some place or not in one area only. Question: What are the challenges faced by local government in promoting tourism places in Bali, particularly Tabanan Region?
King of Tabanan: There are three challenges faced by local government in promoting historic places in Bali, these challenges are: a) Human resources are not yet fully understand the history of these buildings. b) Actually, Government of Indonesia, which until now has not concerned and never come to these historic places. c) The lack of of government budgets to maintain, develop, and promote these historic places.

Question: What type of media / promotional tool, which is effective to use in promoting Tourism destinations effectively?
King of Tabanan: There are several ways to promote historic places in Bali, such as through travel agents or tour guides as a pioneer in introducing historical sites in Bali. It is believed will be very useful, because in general, most foreign tourists, who are first time came to Bali, they will be use the services of tour guide to escort them to the tourist attractions in Bali. Question: Why these ways of promotion are effective?
King of Tabanan: By using the services of travel agencies or tour guides, in general, our tour guide will be promoting the tourist attractions using brochures and the internet. In addition, the tour guide also understands and be able to explain, and invite foreign tourists to come and see the historic sites in Bali. Question: What are suggestions and recommendations for dealing with various challenges in the tourism sector in Bali?
King of Tabanan: The most important thing is the manner or method to preserve the attractions in Bali, in order to maintain it. In addition, with start to introduce historical places in Bali, which has the potential to be a tourist attraction.

Question: What are the Places of tourist destinations which have potential in tourism, but still needs more promotion / should be shown again?
Mr. Putra: Hot spring for bathing named “Belulang” at Penebel village, Tabanan, Bali. Question: What is the "strength" or "uniqueness" from these tourist destinations?
Mr. Putra: ¾ Strength: Hot spring with beautiful scenery of the rice field looks very natural and peaceful. Moreover, the ticket pricing is still quite cheap which only Rp.8.000, 00 per each person for bath. ¾ Uniqueness: The place still very traditional and having bathing together with family members able to increase the bond of relationship between each family member. Not only to enjoy the water spring, but the tourist also able to feel the traditional atmosphere of Balinese heritage culture.

Mr.Putra: Less active. I have to say less active because I was grown up and spend many of time for playing with all my friends when I was a child in around of “Belulang” area. However, there are no other promotion media to promote “Belulang” hot spring until now and there is only ticket counter for selling ticket. Question: Is the local government involving the private sector to participate to develop these tourism destination places?
Mr.Putra: The private sector only using the beauty scenery of surround rice field to attract tourist attention, but there is no invitations from government to attract tourist to visit “Belulang” hot spring Question: What are the challenges faced by local government in promoting tourism places in Bali, particularly Tabanan Region?
Mr.Putra: The place is located in the hinterland of the village and very isolated. Moreover, tourists have to be patient and need to be active to get there as well.

Mr. Putra: Input promotions at several travel agent and make a travel package of must visit destination places in Bali Question: Why these ways of promotion are effective?
Mr. Putra: Because most of local tourist and foreign tourist are usuallyvery often using those travel agents, especially for the new tourist who visit Bali for the first time. Question: What are suggestions and recommendations for dealing with various challenges in the tourism sector in Bali?
Mr. Putra: Do not just offering tourist destination that already common in Bali such as beaches and night clubs. Give other aspects of tourist destination thatt provide meaningful new experiences for tourist.
