The Visual Identity of the International Visegrad Fund and the Visegrad Group
The following are the elements and rules of the construction and usage of the official visual identity of the International Visegrad Fund (IVF) and the Visegrad Group (V4). For more information and logo download please visit www.visegradfund.org/press.html or www.visegradgroup.eu
The IVF/V4 Visual Identity IVF and V4 have two corresponding logotypes representing the regional cooperation among the Czech Republic, the Republic of Hungary, the Republic of Poland and the Slovak Republic, and the only institution thereof, the International Visegrad Fund. Construction and Spacing When the symbol is used alone, a minimum space must be used between it and anything else. This space can easily be recreated by measuring the height of the letter ”d”. http: Futura bold (31,6%)
≥ 5mm
Minimum Size In order to ensure legibility and recognition of the symbol, its minimum size should be no smaller than 5mm height.
The Typeface The Futura group of typefaces is used in all elements of the Visegrad Group visual identity program.
The Official Colours The official colours of the IVF/V4 signature are black (PantoneTM Process Black C) and blue (PantoneTM DS 225-2 C) presented here. The signature should never appear in any other or only one of these spot colours. If you are not able to use both colours, a grey or black and white version is acceptable. A reverse signature on a solid, dark colour base (contrast equivalent to 60% black) is also permitted.

We are happy to present you with our 2006 Annual Report. 2006 was a very special anniversary year for us—the Visegrad Group celebrated its 15th birthday and the International Visegrad Fund [IVF] also marked five years since it provided the first contributions to its grantees. This anniversary gave us an opportunity to look back and evaluate a bit. We realized that the Fund supported more than 1300 projects and granted over 200 scholarships over the past five years and that interest in our programmes has continually been rising. The V4 Prime Ministers acknowledged this in October 2006 by increasing the IVF’s annual budget from € 3.2 to € 5 million at their summit in the city of Visegrád. On this occasion, they also introduced the new V4 logo, inaugurated a book about the Visegrad cooperation and launched the new Visegrad Internet portal at www.visegradgroup.eu. The higher budget gives us not only the opportunity to support more projects in the fields of culture, scientific research, education, exchanges between young people, promotion of tourism and cross-border cooperation, but also to launch new programmes: from 2007, artists have the chance to spend three-month stays in any of the other V4 countries within the Visegrad Artist Residency Programme. All our scholarship programmes were extended also to Master's students; now we are able to award as many as 168 scholarships on an annual basis. Moreover, the current grant schemes were made more “user-friendly” for our applicants. We believe that with these extended programmes and higher budget we will be able to continue successfully in our efforts to develop civil society in the region by building and strengthening networks of institutions and individuals in our four countries.
