• Logistic is Unique ; it’s never stops! Logistic is happening around the globe, twenty-four hours a day seven days a week during fifty-two weeks a year. • Logistic is concern with getting product and services where they are needed when they are desired. • Logistic involves the integration of information, transportation, inventory, warehousing, material handling, and packaging.

• The operating responsibility of logistic is the geographical positioning of raw material, work-in-process, and finished inventories when required at the lowest cost possible • Logistic Management includes the design and administration of system to control the flow of material, work-in-process, and finished inventory to support business unit strategy.
