ABSTRAK Amalia Pratifasari, 2015. Pengantar Karya Tugas Akhir ini berjudul Perancangan Buku Ilustrasi Tentang Pelestarian Lingkungan Hidup Untuk Menanamkan Green Lifestyle Pada Anak. Adapun permasalahan yang dikaji adalah bagaimana membuat buku ilustrasi tentang green lifestyle yang menarik dan informatif bagi pembaca khususnya anak-anak. Tujuan pembuatan komik ini juga untuk meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya menanamkan kebiasan hidup hijau sejak dini yang nantinya akan terus diterapkan hingga dewasa dan diturunkan kepada generasi berikutnya, demi kepentingan makluk hidup di masa yang akan datang.

ABSTRACT Amalia Pratifasari, 2015. This is the preface for thesis entitled The Designing of Illustration Book About Environmental Conservation In Implementing Green Lifestyle for Children. The main focus in this thesis is how to design an illustration book consisting not only interesting but also informative explanation about green lifestyle for the reader especially children. This book making aims to raise the awareness for the importance of implementing green lifestyle since early age and how to constantly keeping that lifestyle in order to make a better environment in the future.
