AIR CONDITIONING
RENAULT Mégane II has 3 air conditioning functions, depending on the equipment level: - conventional heating (without air conditioning), - manual air conditioning, - automatic air conditioning.
Pada semua Kendaraan Megane II dipasang air conditioning (manual atau automatic), management pendinginan lakukan oleh injection computer, melalui Protection and Switching Unit (PSU) dengan menggunakan vehicle multiplex network. Pada semua versi engine, compressor menggunakan variable capacity compressor (pneumatically controlled) dibuat oleh Delphi. Selanjutnya, refrigerant circuit hanya mempunyai satu filler valve, seperti pada RENAULT Laguna II atau RENAULT Vel Satis.

• Untuk diperlukan start pada ait conditioning compressor berasal darii control unit, dimana pengiriman melalui 3 computer : UCH, Protection and Switching Unit (PSU), injection computer. • Saat menekan tombol AC button, control panel mengirim ke UCH melalui kabel. Tegangan pada Control panel 12 volt di suplai oleh UCH. Control panel juga memberitahukan UCH, dari track yang lain, ke ventilasi passenger compartment. Jika kecepatan ventilasi 0 Tegangan 0 volt Jika kecepatan tidak 0, Tegangan 12 volt • UCH kemudian mengirim yang diperlukan oleh injection computer melalui vehicle multiplex network. Terakhir mengirim kembali melalui vehicle multiplex network, ke Protection and Switching Unit (PSU). Dari hasil tersebut, PSU menyediakan tegangan kepada compressor clutch.

RENAULT Mégane II juga dipasang dengan automatic air conditioning. Pada electronic regulation mengontrol : - Pengaturan untuk seting temperatur, - Kecepatan pada interior ventilation, - Pengoperasionalan pada compressor, - Pendistribusian udara di kabin - Pengaturan pada recirculation flap. Bagaimanapun juga, Tidak ada pemisahan setpoint control temperatur pada passenger dan driver. Heater matrix
Pada diesel engine menggunakan electrical heating resistor (PTC), dengan output 1000 atau 1 800 watt, PTC ini untuk melengkapi engine K9K dan F9 (tergantung dari negara). PTC merupakan pengganti dari thermoplunger dan memungkinkan pemanasan dengan cepat pada passenger compartment ketika temperatur pendingin rendah.
