Tujuan Second Year at Hiroshima University, Hiroshima, Japan 30 Credits The structure of the programme Courses at the Hiroshima University will be taken at the Graduate School for International Development and Cooperation (IDEC). IDEC was founded in 1994 for the purpose of educating highly competent professionals who would be capable of coping with, and contributing to, solutions for the many problems faced by developing countries. Developing countries are continually struggling with global issues, such as poverty, environment problems, food & and energy shortages and armed conflict.

Second Year at Kobe University, Japan The structure of the programme In the 2-year Master’s Degree Course, students are required to earn at least 30 credits, complete a Master’s thesis (or 2 essays) and pass a final oral examination. Students can get credits both by taking a lecture (2 credits per semester) and joining in a seminar (4 credits in one academic year) to write their Master’s thesis. The Graduate School offers a very wide range of subjects from which students can freely choose to fulfill their course requirements
At IDEC students will take courses at the Division of Development Science, either the Department of De velopment Policy or at the Department of Develop ment Technology. Required Credits 1. 1st year : 5 subjects (totally 15 credits) in FEUI transferred to 5 subject (10 credits) in IDEC-HU 2. 2nd year : 8 credits for seminar (twice a week) and 12 credits (6 subjects)
Second Year at Yokohama University, Yokohama, Japan 16 Credits The curricula for the Linkage Master Program at the FE-UI and the IGSSS-YNU are given below. They will be reviewed annually, and may be revised based on the mutual agreement between the FE-UI and the OGSSS-YNU. Students need to take 16 credits altogether in the second year at the IGSSS-YNU: (1) 12 credits from the coursework; and (2) 4 credits from seminars offered in the fall and spring semesters, respectively, in the second year.
