Pendahuluan Introduction Amartha Microfinance (Amartha) yang beroperasi sebagai badan hukum Koperasi Amartha Indonesia merupakan institusi yang berorientasi pada bisnis sosial. Misi Amartha memfokuskan kepada pelayanan jasa keuangan terjangkau untuk masyarakat prasejahtera di pelosok pedesaan, sehingga mereka dapat mengejar kehidupan dengan tujuan yang lebih besar. Amartha memajukan misi sosialnya dalam mengurangi kemiskinan melalui layanan pendidikan keuangan dasar dan pengorganisasian masyarakat yang melengkapi pelayanan jasa keuangannya.
Amartha Microfinance (Amartha) which legally operates as Koperasi Amartha Indonesia is a social enterprise. Amartha’s mission focuses on affordable financial services for the low-income people in remote rural areas, so that they can pursue life with greater purpose. Amartha promotes its social mission in reducing poverty through basic financial literacy and community organising that complement its financial services.
Amartha menerapkan model bisnis pembiayaan kelompok serta dilengkapi dengan produk tabungan sukarela dengan prinsip syariah (Islamic Microfinance). Amartha memberikan pembiayaan dengan jangka waktu 50 minggu dengan mekanisme bagi hasil yang disepakati bersama di awal. Seluruh anggota Amartha adalah perempuan. Setiap kelompok terdiri dari 5 anggota dan kemudian 3 atau 4 kelompok membentuk satu majelis. Anggota membayar angsuran setiap minggu dengan didampingi oleh pendamping lapangan Amartha. Seluruh anggota Amartha memahami secara penuh prinsip tanggung renteng atau prinsip tanggung jawab bersama, di mana apabila ada anggota yang tidak mengangsur pada pertemuan mingguan, maka menjadi kewajiban bersama bagi seluruh anggota majelis untuk menanggung angsuran yang tidak terbayarkan tersebut.
Amartha applies the business model of groupbased lending and equipped with voluntary saving product with sharia principle (Islamic Microfinance). Amartha provides financing with a 50 week-tenor using a profit-sharing mechanism that is mutually agreed upon. All Amartha members are women. Each group consists of 5 members and then 3 or 4 groups form a majelis (gathering). Members pay instalment every week and are accompanied by Amartha’s field officers. All Amartha members fully understand the collective responsibility principle or shared responsibility principle, in which if there is a member fails to meet her instalment on the weekly meeting, and then it becomes a mutual obligation for her fellow members in the majelis to cover the unpaid instalment.

Hingga akhir 2K2014, Amartha telah menjangkau 5.954 anggota yang merupakan gabungan dari 5 cabang yang Amartha miliki di Ciseeng, Jasinga, Bojonggede, Kemang, dan Tenjo, Kabupaten Bogor. Tingkat Portofolio Beresiko atau tingkat keterlambatan pembayaran di atas 30 hari terhadap seluruh portofolio pembiayaan Amartha dapat dikelola pada angka 0%.
This report presents Amartha’s operational and financial information for the second quarter of 2014 (April-June)/2Q2014. By the end of 2Q2014, Amartha had reached 5.954 members which were a consolidation of the 5 branches established in Ciseeng, Jasinga, Bojonggede, Kemang, and Tenjo, Bogor regency. Portfolio at Risk or the level of past due instalments for more than 30 days over Amartha’s total outstanding portfolio had been maintained at 0%.

Strategi perluasan jumlah anggota dilakukan dengan membuka pelayanan di desa baru dan memaksimalkan jumlah anggota di desa yang sudah dilayani dengan tetap menjaga kualitas pelayanan.
64 villages across 13 districts in Bogor Regency and Lebak Regency have become the service areas of Amartha by the end of 2Q2014. Expansion strategy to grow the number of members had been done by opening services in the new villages and by intensifying the number of members in the existing villages by maintaining the quality of service.

Selama 2K2014, Amartha telah menyalurkan: pembiayaan putaran pertama, yaitu maksimal Rp 1 juta, kepada 926 anggota; pembiayaan putaran kedua, yaitu maksimal Rp 2 juta, kepada 414 anggota; pembiayaan putaran ketiga, yaitu maksimal Rp 3 juta, kepada 258 anggota; pembiayaan putaran keempat, yaitu maksimal Rp 4 juta, kepada 124 anggota; dan pembiayaan putaran kelima, yaitu maksimal Rp 5 juta, kepada 4 anggota.
Financing Disbursement for Each Cycle. Until 2Q2014, Amartha has distributed: the first round of financing, which is a maximum of Rp 1 million, to 926 members; second round of financing, which is a maximum of Rp 2 million, to 414 members; third round of financing, which is a maximum of Rp 3 million, to 258 members; the fourth round of financing, which is a maximum of Rp 4 million, to 124 members; and the fifth round of financing, which is a maximum of Rp 5 million, to 4 members.

Total tabungan sukarela yang masuk selama 2K2014 adalah Rp 561.7 juta, 67% lebih tinggi dari total tabungan sukarela yang masuk selama 2K2013 (Rp 337.3 juta) dan 24% lebih tinggi dari 1K2014 (Rp 451.8 juta).

Active savings members are those who continue to deposit their mandatory savings every week and have the voluntary savings balance of > Rp 0. Total money deposited during 2Q2014 was Rp 561.7 million, which was 67% higer than the total of voluntary savings deposited during 2Q2013 (Rp 337.3 million) and was 24% lebih tinggi from 1K2014 (Rp 451.8 million).

Produktifitas dan Efisiensi Productivity and Efficiency Anggota baru selama 2K2014 tercatat sebanyak 742 anggota. Angka penumbuhan anggota ini meningkat 19% dari kuarter 2K2013 karena laju pertumbuhan yang cukup signifikan di cabang Bojonggede, Kemang, dan Tenjo.

Penghargaan Awards Ten Outstanding Young Person Indonesia (TOYP) 2014 dari Junior Chamber International Di April 2014, Pendiri Amartha, Andi Taufan Garuda Putra, mendapatkan penghargaan TOYP Indonesia 2014. Setiap tahun, JCI menganugerahi 10 orang pemuda di bawah usia 40 yang aktif memberikan contoh semangat dan layanan yang luar bisa kepada masyarakat.
Ten Outstanding Young Person Indonesia (TOYP) 2014 from the Junior Chamber International In April 2014, Amartha’s Founder, Andi Taufan Garuda Putra, received the TOYP Indonesia Award 2014. Annually, JCI gave awards to 10 youths under the age of 40 who actively give positive example and outstanding service to the community.
JCI (Junior Chamber International) adalah organisasi kepemudaan dunia yang dibentuk di tahun 1913 dan tersebar di 130 negara dengan sekitar 300.000 anggota. Di Indonesia JCI telah hadir sejak 1983 dan kini mencapai 30 chapter dengan 800 anggota.
JCI (Junior Chamber International) is a world-wide youth organisation which was formed in 1913 and it is now in 130 countries with around 300.000 members. In Indonesia, JCI was established in 1983 and now has reached 30 chapters with 800 members.

Total kewajiban bernilai Rp 5.5 miliar hingga akhir 2K2014, di mana komposisi 63% merupakan hutang pembiayaan. Sementara itu, modal pada akhir 2K2014 adalah Rp 1.3 miliar. Rasio kewajiban per modal adalah 433%.

Perekrutan dan Penguatan Karyawan dan Manajemen Pada 3K2014, Amartha akan terus memfokuskan perhatian terhadap perekrutaan pendamping lapangan dalam rangka pembukaan cabang ke-6 di akhir 3K2014 dan cabang ke-7 di awal 4K2014. Proses pelatihan karyawan dan manajemen terus dilakukan dengan ikutsertakan pada pelatihan internal maupun eksternal.

Staff and Management Recruitment and Reinforcement In 3Q2014, Amartha will continue to focus on the recruitment of field officers in order to open the sixth branch at the end of 3Q2014 and seventh branch at the beginning of 4Q2014. The training process for staff and management continue to take place by engaging them in the internal as well as the external training.
Manajemen dan Tata Kelola Management and Governance Audit Portofolio akan dilaksanakan pada bulan Portfolio Audit will be undertaken in August Agustus 2014 oleh tim Audit Internal Amartha. 2014 by Amartha’s Internal Audit Team. Kemudian, penguatan permodalan akan terus dilakukan dengan mendorong kemitraan dengan berbagai pihak seperti penanam modal individu, program kemitraan korporasi, dan pinjaman dari bank komersil.
Furthermore, strengthening of capital requirement will continue to be carried out by encouraging partnerships with various stakeholders such as individual investors, corporate partnership programs, and loans from commercial banks.
Selain itu, Amartha kembali melaksanakan program Sembako Murah Ramadhan. Program tahunan ini direncanakan untuk memberikan subsidi paket sembako kepada 6.000 anggota Amartha.
Beside that, Amartha is to hold the Ramadhan Cheap Groceries Programme. This annual event is planned to provide subsidised cheap groceries package to 6,000 members of Amartha.
