Konsentrasi per ml setelah diencerkan 26943.47 x 106 sel = x 80 mL 863.3 mL = 2496.80 x 106 sel/80 mL Jika dalam sembilan jam penyimpanan terjadi penurunan %M, maka dosis atau volume IB harus ditingkatkan untuk mencapai dosis standar IB yakni motilitas 65% dan konsentrasi 2 x 109 sel/80mL, dengan perhitungan : = ( Motilitas IB / Motilitas semen ) x Volume IB = ( 65% / 40%) x 80 mL = 130 mL Jadi, dengan motilitas 40% dan konsentrasi 2 x 109, volume IB yang digunakan adalah 130 mL.
