Analisis Validiti dan Reliabiliti Tes Akhir Bahasa Inggris Yang Dibuat Oleh Guru Untuk Semester 2 Dari Kelas 2 SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangka Raya. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan (a) untuk mengetahui reliabiliti tes akhir bahasa inggris semester 2 dari kelas 2 SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangka Raya. (b) untuk mengetahui validiti tes akhir bahasa inggris semester 2 dari kelas 2 SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangka Raya. (c) untuk mengetahui mengapa tes akhir bahasa inggris valid. Pokok masalahnya adalah (a) tes akhir bahasa inggris semester 2 dari kelas 2 SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangka Raya reliable? (b) tes akhir bahasa inggris semester 2 dari kelas 2 SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangka Raya valid? (c) mengapa tes akhir bahasa inggris valid?. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitative dengan design penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah analisis validiti dan reliabiliti, objek penelitian ini adalah tes akhir bahasa inggris yang dibuat oleh guru bahasa inggris. Samplenya diambil 40 persen dari 100 persen. Setelah memperoleh data nilai dari tes akhir bahasa inggris, penulis meanalisis data tersebut dengan menggunakan rumus validitas dan reliabilitas korelasi produk momen. Tes akhir bahasa inggris tersebut terdiri dari 50 butir-butir soal. Hasil analisis menggunakan perhitungan manual menunjukan bahwa tes akhir bahasa inggris itu reliabel dengan nilai 0,72. Terdapat 16 soal yang valid dan 34 soal tidak valid dari 50 soal. Sebuah tes bisa valid kalau sudah reliable. Hasil analisis derajat kesukaran. Mudah terdapat 19 soal ( 38% ), sedang terdapat 22 soal ( 44% ), dan sulit terdapat 9 soal ( 18% ). Hasil analisis daya beda. Jelek terdapat 30 soal ( 60% ), cukup terdapat 9 soal ( 18% ), baik terdapat 11 soal ( 22% ), dan baik sekali terdapat 0 soal. Hasil analisis fungsi distraktornya menunujukan 14 soal tidak berfungsi dan tidak diterima, dan terdapat 36 soal berfungsi dan diterima.

ABSTRACT This study is aimed to (a) the reliability of the English summative test for the second semester of the second grade of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangka Raya. (b) the validity of the English summative test for the first semester of the second grade of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangka Raya. (c) to know the English summative test valid. Problem of the study are (a) is the English summative test for the second semester of the second grade of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangka Raya reliable? (b) is the English summative test for the second semester of the second grade of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangka Raya valid? (c) why does the English summative test valid?. The study used quantitative with descriptive design in finding out the answer of the problem of the study. Subject in this study is an analysis of validity and reliability, object in this study is English summative test made by the English teacher. There are 40% sample from 100% sample. After getting English summative test score, the writer analyzed the data using validity and reliability formula correlation product moment. English summative test have 50 items. The result analysis using manual calculation showed the data English summative test is reliable with score 0.72. There are 16 items valid and 34 items not valid. Result item analysis using level of difficulty. Easy= 19 items ( 38% ), medium= 22 items (44% ), difficult = 9 items ( 18% ). Result item analysis using level of discrimination. Poor = 30 items ( 60% ), satisfactory = 9 items ( 18% ), good = 11 items ( 22% ) and excellent is 0 item. Result analysis using function distracters showed 14 items not functioning and reject, and there are 36 items functioning and acceptable. Key word : English summative test, validity and reliability.

CURRICULUM VITAE Shelvia Herima was born in Rungun in June 17 1992, regency of
Kotawaringin Barat,
Kalimantan Tengah. She is the first daughter of Mr. Gusti Mawardi and Mrs. Heriyati. She has only one brother, Gusti Ahmad Bai Hacky. She has husband and daughter, Muhammad Kalkah and Sakhira Queisha Wafiya. She started her study at elementary school at sixth years old, and she graduate from SDN 1 Rungun in 1998 to 2004. Then, she continued her study in SMP 1 Kotawaringin Lama, and graduated from 2004 to 2007. Afterward, she studied in SMA 2 Pangkalan Bun, in Social science in 2007 to 2009 and moved to SMA 1 Kotawaringin Lama in 2009 to 2010. Then, she continued her study in state Islamic college of Palangka Raya and took English Education Study Program in 2010. She ended her study at the ninth semester in 2014.
