Duurzaam en toch betaalbaar bouwen: hoe doe je dat?

ia een rondetafel met vertegenwoordigers van de bouwsector, architecten en verenigingen die actief zijn rond duurzaam bouwen wil deze conferentiedag een beeld schetsen van de huidige situatie. Daarbij zal ook worden ingegaan op de obstakels die de integratie van goede praktijken verhinderen. Evenals op de sporen die kunnen worden gevolgd om bouw- en verbouwingsmethoden die vriendelijker zijn voor het leefmilieu en de menselijke gezondheid, te bevorderen zonder dat aan de concurrentiekracht van deze sector wordt geraakt. Op deze dag staat de problematiek van het energieverbruik in gebouwen centraal.

Energie besparen: een noodzakelijk kwaad?

ia een reeks presentaties en een themaworkshop komt het erop aan de publieke kennis te vergroten met wetenschappelijk bewezen gegevens waardoor mensen inzien dat het noodzakelijk is om energiecriteria al van bij het ontwerp van een nieuw gebouw te integreren. ia een reeks presentaties en een themaworkshop wordt een beeld geschetst van vernieuwende acties en initiatieven, die door de overheid werden gelanceerd om meer energie te besparen. Verder wordt er ook gepraat over het gebruik van hernieuwbare energiebronnen in privéen overheidsgebouwen. Daarbij zal het ook gaan over de financieringssystemen evenals over de institutionele en wetgevende veranderingen die er zouden moeten komen.
