Frozen Heart
Lánya, Xénia vette át a helyét. Hollófekete haj keretezte hófehér arcát, melyből csillogó zöld szeme tekintett a világra. Gyanúsan viselkedett, ezért a királynő maga elé hívatta. Több országból is eljöttek. Hangos trombitaszó kísérte a vitézeket. A lovak prüszköltek, a paták dobogtak, s a lándzsájukat egymásra szegezték. A kikészítet kardjához ugrott, kezébe kapva lábon szúrta ellenfelét. Mikor meglátta a vérző sebet, Henrik fájdalmában felkiáltott, és kardját a földre dobta. Artúr kihasználta a lehetőséget fegyverét a levegőbe emelte, és ellensége szívét célozva keresztülszúrta páncélját. A közönség rémült sikolya megtöltötte a levegőt.
nce upon a time over the Wawel hill too, stood a castle silently waiting in the sunshine. I was glorious years of the country, because the king prosperity provided to his people. But one day, the light was gone, and the king died. Daughter, Xenia took his throne. Raven-black hair framed her white face sparkling green eyes which looked at the world. She was slender, holding pride. She was not famous about her kindness, indeed! Lots of things worthy of not to mention is made. She was happy about her brother’s death, because they wanted her death, because she was better to control the country. Who was in her way, she defeated with her huge army from the earth’s surface. Xenia among her lot of actions saw a man in the middle of the rose garden. He behaved in a suspicious way, so the queen called him in front of her. ‘You knight! What are you doing in my rose garden?’ Xenia asked nervously. ‘Mistress i delight in your beauty every day’ said Arthur calmly. The woman’s face turned red as she got angry at the man. How dare he be so shameless to stare at her in secrets? Xenia got up from the throne and looked at the man in front of her. Arthur was a tall good-looking, strong, smart man looking at the mistress patiently. ‘Why couldn’t admire your beauty, Mistress?’ ‘You can only do this on the condition that you fight my glorious chief of the army, Henry who has already defeated so many kings.’ The next day the whole palace was very excited. The champions were about to fight a duel. People from a lot of countries came to the palace. The loud sound of trumpet accompanied the knights as they arrived at the scene of the joust. The most viewed duel was the last. Arthur and Henry’s duel. Xenia offered her tucker for Henry and he loftily tied it to his black spear. The horses were snorting and hooves were clattering when the two spears clashed. Both the knights fell to the ground. Arthur lost all hope when sword strike almost reached his head, but he grabbed a sword and stabbed it in his enemy’s leg. Seeing the blood pour of his wound, Arthur lifted his sword in the air and aimed for his opponent’s heart, piercing through his chest. Horrified screams of the audience filled the air. Xenia was shocked that a knight could kill the general so fast. As she tried to get her mind around all this Arthur got his blade out of Henry’s body and started walking towards her throne. ‘What have you done?! It was supposed to be a duel

harc! - üvöltötte az egyik királyi nemes Xénia mellől.
not a fight to the death!!!’ Screamed one of the royals, who sat beside Xenia. ‘To achieve my goals I’m ready to do anything’ Was Arthur’s reply. He didn’t even flinch as he said those words. ‘Silence! You shall be punished’ Xenia yelled, silencing everyone. ‘Guards! Take him to the dungeons’ Said Xenia as she turned her head towards the guards. The guards nodded their heads and walked over to Arthur. They pointed their weapons towards him. ‘We’ll decide what your punishment shall be on the congress - Were the last word Xenia spoke before she stood up and walked back to the castle, followed by the royals. Arthur just stood there and watched as the Queen disappeared in the distance, he threw his sword to the ground. It would be stupid of him to try and take on so many guards. They bound his wrists together with a thick rope and pulled him all the way to the dungeons.
- Elértem a célomat, bármit meg tudok tenni válaszolta Artúr. Még attól sem hökkent meg, amit mondott. - Csönd! Ezért büntetés jár - üvöltötte Xénia. Mindenki elhallgatott. - Őrök! Vigyék a börtönbe! - mondta, és fejét az őrök felé fordította. Azok bólintottak, és Artúrra szegezték fegyverüket. - Majd mi elmondjuk a gyűlésen, mi lesz a büntetésed - mondta ki utolsó szavait Xénia. Ezután felállt, és visszament a kastélyba nemes királyi emberek kíséretében. Artúr csak állt, nézte a királynőt, ahogy eltűnik a távolban. Amint elhagy a küzdőteret, az őrök közre fogták. Egy sóhajtással földre dobta kardját. Butaság lett volna tőle szembe szállni ilyen sok őrrel. Összekötötték a kezét, és egészen a börtönig húzták.

Frozen Heart The verdict
Az ítélet
‘Who dies this commoner think he is, doing such things just to achieve his goals.’ screamed an old man, with short grey hair. He was dressed in a white shirt with a brown vest on it and a pair of dark brown trousers. On his vest was a white eagle embroidered. All the male royals were dressed like him. As for the females, they had long dresses, made out of dark green material, with the same symbol embroidered on them. They all sat in an enormous room, in the centre was a huge wooden table with many chairs surrounding it. They all sat down on their assigned chairs and continued to argue about the knight’s harsh behaviour. Xenia didn’t speak a word since the duel, as she was lost in her thoughts. ‘Who is he? Sir Henry never mentioned that he had such a strong knight. He could be a spy from another kingdom, but it would be stupid of him to just blow his cover. He acts too confident as if he expected all this to happen. What is he planning? ‘Your Majesty, what shall we do? Let him rot in the dungeon, hang him, or banish him from the kingdom?’ Asked a blonde woman, silencing the whole room. Everyone’s eyes were fixed on the Queen. This question brought Xenia out of her thought. ‘He shall stay in the dungeons for 25 years. Those we are against it stand up!’ Everyone agreed with her, and soon the meeting was over. But Xenia still had many questions. She wasn’t sure why, but she didn’t want to kill this man. It made no sense to her as of why. She was known for being merciless. Still lost in her thought she walked out of the conference room, and headed for her chambers. As she reached the staircase that led to her destination, a huge explosion echoed through the castle.
A nők sötétzöld hosszú ruhát hordtak ugyanazzal a szimbólummal. Mindenki a királynőre pillantott. A kérdés Xéniát is felébresztette gondolataiból. Xénia továbbra is a válaszolatlanul maradt kérdéseken tűnődött. Elmélyedve gondolataiban elhagyta a termet. Amint a lépcsőkhöz ért, ami a cellákhoz vezetett, egy hatalmas robbanás visszhangzott a kastélyban.

Frozen Heart The new home (In the meantime)
Az új otthon
The guards led no more like dragged Arthur through the dungeon tunnels. The walls were all wet with moss growing on some of the stone bricks. Torches hung on the wall lightning the path. On the opposite side were the cells, with thick, rusty iron bars. Some of them already filled with the scum of the kingdom, all dirty and starving. Not to mention the stench, which was unbearable. They came to an empty cell and began opening the locks on it. They shoved Arthur inside and locked the cell behind him without any unnecessary words. The cell itself wasn’t especially luxurious. There was a wooden plank fixed to the wall with chains serving as bed, an old dirty pot stood in the corner probably used as toilet as it reeked horribly, and a little window with iron bars, near the ceiling. The walls looked the same as those in the tunnels. ‘So this is my new home, huh?’ Arthur asked sarcastically. One of the guards grunted in reply as he and his comrades headed for the exit. Perfect, now all he had to do was to let his partner know in which cell he was locked in. For that he used a little metal plate, which was hidden inside one of his shoes, and reflected the sun’s rays. A few minutes later a short, middle aged man with short white hair and small dark brown eyes walked up to the window. He wore a long sleeved, white shirt with light brown shorts and dirty black shoes. ‘I told it would end like this’ Said the elder man, shaking his head. ‘It was worth a shot’ Was Arthur’s cheeky reply. ‘At least I know it’s her’ ‘Come on, we got to get you out of here’ Said the man, waving his hand, signalizing Arthur to move back a little. The man put something next to the window and backed away a few metres. A few seconds after that an explosion was heard, which created a huge hole in the wall. Arthur quickly climbed out of the cell and fled into the forest, closely followed by his companion. Footsteps were heard in the distances as they run through the thick grass. Not seeing any place to hide, they decided to climb a tall tree. Its branches and leaves hide them from anyone on the ground but let them see eve-
Kellemetlen szag töltötte be a rab odúját. - Tehát ez az én új otthonom? Huh! Léptek hallatszottak a messzi távolból, ahogy a nagy fűben rohantak.

rything down there, making it the perfect hiding spot. They stayed silent, listening to the footsteps, as they got quieter. After they quieted down completely, the two men started laughing out loudly. ‘Just like the old times, huh Olaf?’ Arthur said as he tried to catch his breath. ‘Oh boy, this old man can’t take too much. It’s time for me to retire’ Said Olaf, as he panted, one hand resting on the tree branch and the other on his chest. ‘Xenia’s brother was right about her. There’s no doubt, she is the one

Olaf told Arthur, that saving the knight is his destiny. Therefore he jumped down from the tree divert the attention of the persecutors. As the persecutors disappeared, Arthur left his hiding place and in a hurry and went to his king Krak. In the main hall he told what happened to him. Krak wanted to help his loyal knight, therefore he told a story about Ow. He told that the dragon keeps Xenia’s sealing on his green tail which ensures the power of Xenia. He suggested him, to get the ring, so Xenia will forgive him. Arthur went down in the caracole to the dragon’s cave. Horrible fire accepted him. He crept slowly to the surf’s direction. The dragon heard the footsteps and it gasped. Ow squirting flame, who courage to disorient its retired. Arthur started to come back, he slipped in the blood puddle and he slid to one little nook. The monster didn’t see our hero. Arthur with one big slash slammed the tip of the dragon’s tail with the ring. Ow in its pain, didn’t care about Arthur, so he can come back to the castle. The mountain quaked of the dragon’s roar. Our hero went to Xenia with the ring to Buda, where he jumped down of the tree to the rose garden. Xenia walked here. When he saw her wished ring on his hand, her frozen heart let of cold squeeze towards Arthur. ‘Where did you find my ring knight?’ ‘I found it on king Krak’s dragon’s tail my queen.’ ‘Why are you helping me when treated you so badly, Arthur?’ ‘My nurse told me, how beauty little girl you were, but an evil mare froze your heart and you became, a beauty, but obdurate queen. Only a man, who is selfish, and a real lover can free you from the mares, and then you will be a soft woman again.’
A fogadóteremben elmesélte a vele történteket. Krak segíteni akart hű vitézének, s elmesélte a sárkány, Óv és a pecsétgyűrű történetét. Óv tekervényes, zöld pikkelyes, farka hegyén őrzi a Xénia hatalmát biztosító gyűrűt. Lassan lopódzott a szuszogó hang felé. A sárkány a lépteket meghallva hirtelen felhördült. Artúr nagy suhintással lecsapta a sárkány farka hegyét a gyűrűvel együtt. A sárkány üvöltésétől remegett a hegy. Hősünk a gyűrűvel eljutott Xéniához Budára, ahol egy fáról beugrott a rózsakertbe. Éppen ott sétált Xénia királynő. Amikor meglátta a hőn áhított gyűrűt, fagyos szíve engedett a lovag iránt. A királynő csodálkozó szemmel hallgatta a róla szóló legendát. Hálája jeléül meghívta az esti bálra Artúrt.
The surprised queen was listening to the legend. For her thankfulness she invited Arthur to the evening feast.

Frozen Heart In the castle
A kastélyban
The sun began to disappear behind the horizon. The guests were arriving at the castle. Xenia was in her chambers, getting ready. Her ruby red dress hugged her curves perfectly. She was nervous but at the same time excited. Her heart was beating rapidly. She felt weird without the curse, like a different person. She went out on the balcony to cool down a little bit. The cold air hit her skin, sending shivers down her spine. She stood by the railing, looking down at the people who arrived at the castle. Everything looked so peaceful, as if the curse never happened. A feeling of weakness overcame Xenia, making her lose her balance and fall down. She was sure it was her end, but two strong arms caught her before she hit the ground. As she opened her eyes, she found herself in Arthur's arms. ‘You should be a little more careful, My Queen’ Xenia didn't respond, she got lost in his blue eyes. They stared at each other for some time, not noticing a dark creature luring behind Arthur. When their faces began getting closer, Xenia noticed the monster and yelled out loud. Arthur jumped to the side, still holding onto Xenia. The creature lunged again in their direction, making a terrifying roar. Arthur started running, deeper into the gardens. He searched for a hiding place for a hiding place for Xenia. He would protect her, no matter what. He followed the path in the garden, which led into the village. Arthur ran through the village, looking for a good hiding place for Xenia, with the monster trailing them. He tried to shake it off by making many
A nap kezdett eltűnni a horizonton. A vendégek folyamatosan érkeztek. Xénia a szobájában várta a bál kezdetét, készen a megjelenésre. Rubinvörös ruhája rásimult tökéletes alakjára. Izgatott és zaklatott is egyszerre. A szíve gyorsan vert. Hirtelen megszédült, elvesztette egyensúlyát s átesett a korláton. A rém üvöltve feléjük suhintott. Artúr karjaiban tartva a királynőt a falu felé menekült. Búvóhelyet keresett Xéniának. A szörny követte őket. - Meg kell menteni a lányt bármi áron. - gondolta.

mot. Hősünk teste mindenhol fájt, szájában érezte a vér jellegzetes ízét. Nem törődve a fájdalommal újra a szörnyre vetette magát. - Mivel próbálkozol ember? - kérdezte a szörny miközben a levegőbe ugrott, kikerülve Artúr támadását. - Miért érdekel? - kiáltotta vissza a lovag majd kardját a szörnyre szegezte. - A királynődet próbálod menteni? A szörny felkapta őt, s fogai belefúródtak Artúr bal karjába, ami erősen vérezni kezdett. A lovag maradék erejével megmarkolta kardját, és csapásával a szörny fején lévő ékkövet találta el. A kő, szilánkokra tört. - Mialatt a szavakat hallotta, a királynő kezében lévő gyűrű egyre jobban fénylett. A gyűrűt a vérbe tette, ami magába szívta a vörös folyadékot, kiszárítva a vénákat. Az utolsó csepp vére is a gyűrűbe
turns. He ran inside an abandoned windmill inside a huge chest. Then he took out his sword and left the windmill. The monster was searching for them outside, not noticing the knight, as He left his hideout. Arthur crept behind the dark monster then he stroke it in the back. The creature made a horrifying sound while turning around. It was a big shadow-like creature with glowing yellow eyes and a bloody red jewel its head. The monster lifted its huge paw and smacked Arthur into a building. Arthur's body hurt everywhere and he could taste blood in his mouth. Using all his strength he stood up and charged at the monster again ‘What are you trying to achieve, you pitiful human?’ Said the monster as it jumped in the air, dodging Arthur's attack. ‘Why would you care?’ Yelled the knight back, swinging his sword at the monster. ‘Are you trying to save your little princess? Her soul is mine and I shall have it before dawn’ Laughed the monster manically as it dodged its opponent’s attacks. ‘As for you, I'm sure you can satisfy my hunger’ Said the creature as it licked its lips, showing its snake-like tongue. It singed its huge tail at Arthur, making him fly into a house again. This time Arthur's body couldn't take this pain and he laid there not moving. The monster picked him up using its mouth. Its teeth dug into Arthurs left arm making it bleed heavily. Using what strength he had left, Arthur lifted his sword and strokes it at the jewel on the monster’s head, destroying it. The monster yelped out in pain as it slowly began to disappear, leaving Arthur injured on the ground. Arthur breathed slowly, trying to calm down his heartbeat. He didn't have time to be lying around; he had to get to Xenia as fast as he could. With great difficulties he stood up and limped his way to the windmill. Inside we opened the chest were he found Xenia unconscious. He lifted her up bridal style and carried her outside were he put her on the grass. Arthur noticed a strange light coming from Xenias hand. Picking her hand up Arthur heard a bell-like voice. ‘Blood, blood is the only answer... Give it me I shall save whom is in danger…’ The ring started glowing even more as Arthur took it off Xenia’s hand. ‘If I give you my blood, would you save her?’ Asked Arthur desperately. ’All of it... Blood shall end all of it ... Give me all of it was the rings response.’ Not waiting time Arthur took out his sword and cut his 11

került. Majd egész teste eltűnt a ködbe utolsó szavaival: Én királynőm… Xénia a kastélyban ébredt körülvéve orvosokkal és nővérekkel. - Hol vagyok?
hand just so a little blood came out. Then he put the ring in the red liquid. The once pure white ring started absorbing his blood, draining his veins, till it was blood red. As the last drop of blood left Arthurs body, he began to disappear, muttering his last words: My Queen… Xenia woke up in the castle surrounded by doctors and nurses. ‘Where am I?’ Said Xenia as she tried to sit up in her bed. ‘Be careful, my Highness. You just woke up after 5 days’ Said one of the doctors as the nurses gently pushed Xenia onto the bed. ‘But I have to see Arthur!’ Yelled Xenia as she tried to stand up again. ‘May I ask who this Arthur is?’ Asked the doctor. ‘What do you mean?! I'm talking about the man who was with me when you found me!’ ‘But Your Highness, you were found by a villager near the windmill, nobody was with you’ Answered the doctor a little bit confused. ‘What…’ Xenia stared in shock at the doctor besides her bed and fainting again.

Frozen Heart Xenia’s dream
Xénia álma
‘Impossible, he has to be alive. He wouldn't leave me behind’ Those were the thought that ran through Xenia's mind as she stood in middle of nothing Everything around her was dark. She didn't dare to move, fearing that she might get lost in the darkness. But then a bright red light illuminated the darkness and a belllike voice spoke to her: ‘He was the one... The one to save them all... But to be forgotten by them all. ‘What do you mean?! Where's Arthur?!’ Yelled Xenia ‘He is no more... and will never be again... as he saved you from your curse... Don't make his efforts go to waste and live your life the way you want…’ Those were the last words Xenia heard before she woke up. Opening her eyes Xenia stared at the ceiling in her room. It seemed that she was alone, as there was no noise around her. She sighed as she sat up on her bed. ‘He saved me, but at what cost...I shall not make it go to waste and be a great queen for his sake, so his soul can rest in peace. After she decided this, Xenia stood up from her bed, got ready and left her chambers. ‘I'm going to start my life over, for him’

A fiú lehajtotta kapucnis fejét, mintha vak lenne. A király összezavarodottan tekintett rá. Ordítás. A városlakók elkezdtek rohanni a főtérre. A katonák rászegezték fegyverüket a fogolyra. A megfelelő pillanatban valaki megragadta a fiú kezét és behúzta a tömegbe. - Azt hittem, hogy elfeledkeztél rólam. Kezdtem kételkedni a harmadik rúgás után. - mondta a fiú megmentőjének. - Köszönöm a bizalmadat - mondta a vörös hajú lány. - Még Csak most kezdődik. Gyerünk! Visszamentek a város terére. A helyzet megváltozott. A király csapatai vesztésre álltak. A király megrettent arccal magából kikelve ordított: - A katonáknak meg kell védeniük a királyt! Bolondok! Az uralkodótok veszélyben van! De senkit sem érdekelt az óbégatása. Minden katona a lázadás leverésével volt elfoglalva. A régi hatalom hívei számára rosszul alakult. A fiú a királyhoz lépett: - A szerepek elcserélődtek. Szóval választ várok!- Tudod, mit tettél? Tudod, hogy rossz? - A királyod vagyok! Tiszteletet követelek! Amint a katonáim legyőzték a kis lázadásod, száműzve leszel. - Mondta a vörös hajú lány. A megrettent király végignézett a csatamezőn. - Most mi vagyunk a vadászok, és ti vagytok az űzött vad - Mondta a fiú, a lázadók vezére.
nce upon a time there was a town named Trost. The king of this town was cruel to his people, never listening to anybody’s needs. Days, months and years passed by until somebody decided to change everything. The king’s soldiers led a boy in a cloak through the town. Many voices were heard from the crowds of people gathered around them: ‘Fear God!’ ‘There's no hope for the likes of you.’ ‘Banish him!’ The soldiers held their weapons pointed at the boy. The boy hid under the cloaks hood, glaring at the man before him. The king turned his gaze to him and spoke: ‘Do you know what you’ve done? Do you know it was bad?’ The boy was sitting quietly, never averting his gaze. One of the soldiers stepped forward and kicked him in the stomach. ‘I’m asking again. Do you know what you’ve done?’ The whole situation repeated itself many times. The boy looked at the clock tower. Noon ‘It's time…’ he whispered. The king looked at him confused. Screams. Civilians started running from the town square. Soldiers readied their weapons, releasing the boy. Using this opportunity somebody caught his arm and pulled him back into the running crowds of people. ‘And here I though you forgot about me. I started to doubt you after the third kick’ the boy said. ‘Thanks for having faith in us’ said the redheaded girl. ‘It all starts now. Let's go‘ said her companion. They headed back to the town square. The situation changed. The king’s army was losing to the rebels. The king stood in the middle of the town square with a terrified look on his face, from time to time bawling: ‘Soldiers should protect the king! You fools! Your king's in danger!’ Nobody cared about his tantrums at the moment. All of the soldiers were trying to suppress the rebellion. Unfortunately - for them – with no luck. The boy walked up to the king: ‘The roles changed now. So let me ask: Do you know what you’ve done? Do you know it was bad?’ ‘I am you king! I demand respect! When my soldiers are done suppressing your little rebellion you all will be banished!’ 15
Trost
‘Take a look. It seems like you are the ones who are being suppressed here’ the redheaded girl said. The terrified king gazed upon the “battlefield”. ‘Now we are the hunters and you are the wild animals’ the boy said. After few minutes the battle has finally. The soldiers of the king dropped their weapons and ran into the safety forest. ‘We did it!’ Said the redheaded lady. Our hero set up the king and tied his arms. Suddenly loudly neigh broke the silence. The leader of the rebel cavalry has trotted to the square. ‘We won the battle, Sir! The enemy lines retreated.’ Said the general while he was saluting. The boy took of his hood and he turned to the king. ‘So, as I see your army saved itself rather than their tyrant. You have lost, so you can choose between death or exile. Choose now!’ ‘As a loser I’d choose death but as the king chosen by his people I’d choose exile.’ said the king. ‘As you wish’ said the boy while he pointed on a chestnut bay horse. The king boarded the horse, and gone after his army. ‘What if he comes back?’ whispered the girl. ‘Than he dies.’ answered the boy. The rebels have taken all control over the city, the boy become their king who betrothed the girl. Years past and the boy was a great king, he always listened to his people’s needs. He united his town with other towns, but it couldnt last forever. Once hunters arrived to the king. ‘Sir, we have seen the fallen king in your country’ Said the first who was wearing a rough cloack and a hat with a pheasent feather on it. ‘We want to warn you, sir that he recruited an army, and he prepared over years for the revenge’ Said the other one in a green cloack. There was a rifle on his back. ‘Thank you for the warning, you will get your rewards, but I would ask something from you before: Would you spy my enemy?’ ‘Whatever you command, sir!’ ‘So you came back, darling - he smiled at his love’ General!’ He shouted towards the door. The door opened with a loud creak and a man came in with a sword and a short-barrelled gun. He took off his helmet and salute. ‘Did you call me, sir?’ ‘It seems like our old enemy came back’ he
Pár perc múlva a csata végleg eldőlt. A király katonái fejvesztve, fegyvereiket hátra hagyva, rohantak a lázadók sortüze elől, a menedéket nyújtó erdőbe. - Megcsináltuk! - sóhajtott a vörös hajú hölgy. - Uram a csatát megnyertük a királyi sereg visszavonult - mondta tisztelegve a tábornok. - Ahogy óhajtod - mutatott a fiú barna paripája felé. - Akkor meghal. A lázadók vették át a hatalmat, a város felet. A fiút tették királyukká, aki eljegyezte a vörös hajú lányt. Egyszer vadászok érkeztek a királyhoz.

A vár teljes készültségbe állt. Elkezdtek kúszni a zaj felé. - szólt közbe a bukott király. A puskás bólintott. Leugrottak a hintóról. Másnap este katonák tüzet gyújtottak a vár köré. A király páncéljá-
looked at his loyal leader severely. ‘Mobilize all of your soldiers, general!’ The soldier saluted and went out of the room in hurry. The castle was in total preparedness. Meanwhile in the forest two men straited under the trees. ‘I said that we didn’t have to go to the king, we can hunt animals now, but you accepted the offer, and now we have to spy on the cruel king and on his huge army’ said one of them angrily. ‘Be quiet! They can hear us!’ said the soldier who wore cap. If they attack us, this will be here- he pointed at his gun. ‘That’s true, but we are just spying, not fighting’ whispered the soldier who wore cap. At once they heard a noise, looked each other, and whipped out tear guns lay on the floor. They began to creep toward the noise. They arrived to a path. A foot regiment with black armor and a cavalry went toward the castle. After the army went a red coach. The man with the shotgun fast and quietly jumped up the coach and helped his partner up. In the coach sat the defeated king and the leaders his army and they were consulting. ‘Sir, I suggest, let’s attack a day after tomorrow morning, to show the king how big our army is…’ said one of the leaders. ‘No, because they will run away from the castle, if we delay it!’ said the defeated king. ‘We will attack as a surprise tomorrow evening.’ The leaders of the army just nodded their heads and agree with their head’s decesion. ‘We need to tell it to our king’ wispered the one with the cap.The other with the gun nodded his head. He jumped off the cart. They hurried running to the castle to warn the court about the danger. The other evening the soldiers put on fire around the castle. ban a vár kapujában várta az ellenséget lovas ezredével. A tábornok baktatott oda hozzá fekete lovával: - Felség biztos vezeti a sereget? – kérdezte félve a tábornok. - Igen. Az ellenség másodperceken belül megjelent. Az erdőből vad lovasság tört elő hangos csatakiáltással.
ment. The general was stepping there with his black horse: ‘My Majesty, are you sure about leading the army?’ asked the general scared. ‘Yes’ The enemy appeared within seconds. From the forest savage cavalry broke out with a loud whoop. Riflemen shot between the savage enemy from the castle wall. The rifle-bullets one by one hit the horses and its riders. The mounted army fell. Loud bugle-call broke the silence after the attack. Foot soldiers broke out from the trees at the head of the fallen king in a carmine armor. The king didn't wait, he drew his sword, and he shouted:
A vár faláról lövészek tüzeltek a vad ellenség közé. A lovasok elestek. Gyalogság tört elő a fák közül, élén a bukott király vörös páncélban. A lovasok nekirohantak a gyalogságnak. A bukott király kardjával neki rontott. A párbaj hamar véget ért. A király pár perc múlva a trónján ült feleségével és előttük a túlélők és a bukott király láncba verve ültek. - Azt hited, hogy győzhetsz? - kérdezte az uralkodó. - A büntetésetekről a feleségem dönt. A királyságba ezután boldogság költözött. A két vadászt lovaggá ütötték. Trost város lakói békében és biztonságban töltötték további éveiket.
‘Assault!’ The cavalry charged to foot-soldiers. ‘As long ago!’ shouted the king to his leader, and he pulled off his ciphering grid. After that he striked the foot-soldier, who was running near him. ‘Take care sir, who’s lead the country if you fall!’ galloped near him his leader. The king to took aim at the fallen king's horse with his hatchet and he threw it. The horse fell and the banished rolled off it. The king jumped off his horse, he brought out his sword, and he dropped to the ground his helmet. The fallen king charged him with his sword. The duel had quickly ended. The king few minutes later sat in his throne with his wife and in front of them the survivors and the fallen king sat, they were in chains. ‘As you thought that you can win?’ Asked the emperor ‘My wife decides about yours punishment. ‘You let to decide a Woman about my life?’ looked up the exile. ‘Yes’ answer ‘decide my darling!’ ‘I give one more chance for your soldiers. Banish them! But you played your chance, so death waits for you’ the queen doom them. The soldiers took hold of the exile and pull him to the scaffold. The survivors were shepherded to the castle’s gate. “You're going to pay for all” this was the last word of the fallen king. Thereafter the happiness came into the kingdom. Two hunters were created the knight by Queen. After that the Trost’s inhabitants lived in happy and safety in the city.

It was a lovely summer day at the lakeside. The storks were walking on their long, red legs chattering in Egyptian language, learnt from their mothers.
A gólyák hosszú, piros lábaikkal lépkedtek, miközben egyiptomi nyelven kerepeltek.
The students are gathering in the camp, they are looking around uncertainly, because they don’t know each other. The teacher is reading the register, and it turns out that a girl is still missing./

How large the camp is!
Milyen nagy a tábor! Tanár:
Do you think is it the whole camp? Wait ,till you will see the yard, it stretches far beyond the priest’s field.
Are you all here? No, I think one of you is missing. Amanda is still missing. I wonder how long do we have to wait? I’m fed up with it… but what has she done? Let’s wait!
Mind itt vagytok? Nem, azt hiszem egyikőtök még hiányzik. Amanda, jajj! Meddig várjunk még rá?? 33
The eccentric little student
Jó reggelt, kolléga! Hogyan vagyunk?
Good morning colleague. Well, how are you?
Táborvezető:
One child hasn’t arrived yet. We have been waiting for her more than 1 hour. It’s a scandal, that she makes so many people wait.
Tanár:Egy gyerek még nem érkezett meg. Már több mint 1 órája várunk rá. Felháborító, hogy megvárakoztat. Tanár:De nézd a többit, hát nem ők a legaranyosabb kisgyerekek, akiket eddig láttál? Ne várjunk többet rá… tanítsd meg a többit inkább úszni!
But just look at all the others, aren’t they the cutest little children you have ever seen? It is not necessary to wait for her,..Teach the others to swim.!

We shouldn’t wait for her…teach the other children to swim.
I think, I will wait for her, a few minutes will be nothing. As you like it. I definetely won’t be a friend of her.
How does she look like?

Can you see her shoes? My grandmother wore a shirt like this!

Tanár:Nem is olyan ügyetlen, milyen jól használja a lábait, s milyen szépen tartja magát! /Mindenki bevonul a faházba, és amikor Amanda is be szeretne jutni, elüldözik/
This is a turkey! Kvakk
The next day the weather was delightful, and the sun was shining brightly on the green burdock leaves, so the teacher took the children to the water and jumped in with splash. It was beautiful, like the eccentric little student was also in the water swimming with them. That’s not a clamsy, how well se uses her legs, and how upright she holds herself!

Barna:Hát ez meg mit akar?
Well, what does she want?
Boldi:Ki ez a pulyka? Mit keresel itt?
Who’s that turkey? What are you doing here?
This cannot be tolerated. Maybe you can swim, but you are se eccentric, so you deserve not to be the member of our team!

The poor Amanda didn’t know where to go, and was miserable, because the whole camp laughed at her.

We don’t understand you? Who can understand you, I wonder? Do you consider yourself more clever than the Joe, or the leader, I’ll say nothing of myself? Don’t imagine such nonsense, child, and thank your good fortune that you have been received here. But you are a chatterer, and your company isn’t very agreeble. Belive me, I speak only for your own good. I may tell you unpleasant truths, but that is a proof of my friendship.

The Language of Animals
Hungarians: Shortened version of the story L: A Man had a shepherd who had served him faithfully and honestly for many years. One day, as the shepherd was tending his sheep, he heard a hissing noise in the forest, and wondered what it could he. There he saw that the dry grass and leaves had caught fire, and in the middle of a burning circle a snake was hissing. The shepherd stopped. SH: „What would you do for the fire that it was burning all around, and the flames approached nearer and nearer every moment.” LS:"Oh, Shepherd! for heaven's sake s ave me from this fire!" Z: The shepherd stretched out his crook over the flames to the snake, and the snake passed along it on to his hand, and from his hand it crawled to his neck, where it twisted itself round. SH:"What have I done in an evil hour? Have I saved you to my own destruction?" LS: "Fear not, but carry me to my father's house. My father is the king of the snakes." SH: But I can’t leave my sheeps. LS:"Be not troubled about the sheep; no harm shall happen to them; only go as fast as you can." SH: Oh, beautiful forest ! I have never been here before LS:” There is a gate to my father’s castle. When we come to my father's palace he will give you whatever you ask for: silver, gold, and precious stones. But take nothing of these, but ask to know the language of the animals. He will refuse you this for a long time, but at last he will grant your request." been?" 41
The Language of Animals
Z:And they came to the palace, to the father, who, shedding many tears, cried: IG:"For heaven's sake! my dearest daughter, where have you been?" LS: I was in the forest when the fire started. Fortunatelly the sheperd rscued me. I:"What would you have me give you for saving my daughter?" SH:"Only let me understand the language of animals; I want nothing else." I:"That is not good for you; for if I were to bestow on you the gift of the knowledge of the tongue of animals, and you were to tell anyone of it, you would die at once. Therefore, ask for something else; whatever you want to have, I will give to you." "If you wish to give me anything, then grant me the knowledge of the language of animals; but if you do not care to give me that - farewell, and God protect you! I want nothing else." And the shepherd turned to leave the place. Then the king called him back,: "Stay! come here to me, since you will have it at all hazards. Open your mouth." "Now breathe into my mouth." The shepherd breathed into his mouth, and the snake king breathed again into that of the shepherd. After they had breathed each three times into the other's mouth, the king said: "Now you understand the language of animals, and of all created things. Go in peace, and God be with you! But for the life of you, tell no one of this, for if you do, you will die at once!" Z: The shepherd returned home through the forest. As he walked he heard and understood all that the birds said, and the grass and all the other things that are on the earth. When he came to his sheep and found them all together and quite safe, he laid himself down to rest. Scarcely had he lain down when there flew two ravens toward him, who took their perch on a tree, and began to talk together in their own language. "What if that shepherd only knew that underneath the place where the black lamb lies there is a cellar full of silver and gold!' When the shepherd heard this, he went to his master, and told him of it. The master took a cart with him, and they dug down to a door leading to the cave, and removed the treasure to his house. But the master was an honest man, and gave all the treasure to the shepherd,: "My son, all this treasure is yours, for heaven has given it to you. Buy yourself a house with it, marry, and live happily in it."

The Language of Animals
The shepherd took the treasure, built himself a house, and, having married, lived a happy life. Soon he became known as the richest man, not only in his own village, but so rich that there was not his equal in the whole neighbourhood. One day, just before Christmas, he said to his wife,: "Get some wine and some brandy, and all things necessary; tomorrow we will go to the farmyard and take the good things to the shepherds that they may also enjoy themselves." The wife followed his directions and prepared all that he had told her. When they arrived next day at the farmhouse, the master said to the shepherds: "Come here, all of you; eat, drink, and be merry. I will watch over the flocks for you tonight." And he remained with the flocks. About midnight the wolves began to howl and the dogs to bark, and the wolves said in their language: "May we come in and do what mischief we like? Then you, too, shall have your share." "Come in; and we will eat our fill with you." But among the dogs there was an old one, who had but two teeth in his head, and he said to the wolves: "That will not do. So long as I have my two teeth in my head you shall do no harm to my master nor his sheep." Then he prepared to return home with his wife, and they both mounted their horses. And as they rode on, the husband got a little ahead, while the wife fell behind. At last the husband's horse neighed, and called to the mare: "Come on! make haste! Why do you lag behind!" And the mare answered him, "Ah yes, it is all very easy for you: you have only one to carry, the master; while I have to carry two, the mistress and her baby." The husband turned round and laughed, and his wife seeing this, urged the mare forward, overtook her husband, and asked him what he had been laughing at. "It was something that came to mind," answered the husband, with this answer, and in to tell her why he had
but the wife was not satisfied she pressed him again and agalaughed.

THE ORIGINAL ENDING But he excused himself,:"Let me alone, wife!"But she insisted that he should tell her what he had been laughing at. At last he said to her:"Know then, that if I tell you the reason, I shall die at once."But his wife did not care for that, but urged him to tell her. Meanwhile they had reached home. The husband ordered a coffin to be made at once, and when it was ready he had it placed before the house, and said to his wife:"See now, I now lay me down in this coffin. If I tell you why I laughed; I shall die."Looked around him for the last time. And there came the old dog from the farmyard, and sat down at his head and whined. The husband seeing this, said to his wife:"Bring a piece of bread and give it to this dog."The dog would not even look at it. Then the house cock ran up, and began to pick at the bread; and the dog said to it: "You miserable greedy thing, you! You can eat, and yet you see that the master is going to die!"The cock answered the dog, "Let him die since he is such a fool. I have a hundred wives. If anyone of them got angry, I should be at her directly with my beak. The master has only one wife, and he cannot even manage her." When the husband heard this he quickly sprang out of the coffin and called his wife . "Come, wife, bat you won’t get what you desire."Then, with a little give and take they soon came to an agreement that she should not ask him about it again.

Kérdezte a kígyók királya:- Mit kívánsz, te szegény ember, amiért a fiam életét megmentetted a haláltól? A juhász meghallotta, megjegyezte a fát. Elment haza. Később eljött szekérrel a pénzért, hazavitte. Nagygazda lett belőle. Elvette a számadó lányát. Odahaza, a szobában, a kemencenyakon ült két macska. Erre a juhász elnevette magát.
- kötötte magát a juhász.
