BAB V KESIMPULAN, IMPLIKASI DAN REKOMENDASI A. Kesimpulan Berdasarkan uraian pada bab-bab sebelumnya, dapat ditarik kesimpulan seperti berikut. 1. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan computer anxiety (anticipation dan fear) secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keahlian penggunaan komputer dalam penulisan skripsi mahasiswa. Hal itu ditunjukkan nilai rx1y sebesar 0,291. Nilai koefisien determinasi r2x1y atau besarnya sumbangan pengaruh X1 terhadap Y adalah 0,084 dan thitung sebesar 2,025 lebih besar dari ttabel sebesar 0,198. 2.
Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan computer attitude (optimism, pessimism, dan intimidation) secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keahlian penggunaan komputer dalam penulisan skripsi mahasiswa. Hal itu ditunjukkan nilai rx2y sebesar 0,396. Nilai koefisien determinasi r2x2y atau besarnya sumbangan pengaruh X2 terhadap Y adalah 0,149 dan thitung sebesar 3,098 lebih besar dari ttabel sebesar 0,198.

Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan computer anxiety (anticipation dan fear) dan computer attitude (optimism, pessimism, dan intimidation) secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keahlian penggunaan komputer dalam penulisan skripsi mahasiswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan nilai Ry(1,2) sebesar 0,343 lebih besar dari rtabel sebesar 0,198. Nilai koefisien determinasi (Adjusted R2) sebesar 0,101. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji F diperoleh nilai Fhitung sebesar 7,123.
B. Implikasi Penelitian Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa kecemasan berkomputer dan sikap berkomputer berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keahlian penggunaan komputer. Sehubungan dengan itu, antisipasi dan sikap optimism dalam berkomputer perlu dipertahankan karena dua hal tersebut dapat meningkatkan keahlian penggunaan komputer. Sementara itu, rasa takut, sikap pessimism dan intimidation harus dikurangi karena dapat menghambat keahlian penggunaan komputer mahasiswa.
C. Rekomendasi Berdasarkan kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian tersebut dapat diajukan saran-saran seperti berikut. 92

Untuk Mahasiswa Program Studi Akuntansi Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa keahlian penggunaan computer mahasiswa termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Sehubungan dengan itu, mahasiswa perlu meningkatkan keahlian penggunaan komputer dengan cara Mahasiswa perlu meningkatkan keahlian penggunaan berkomputer dengan sesuai dengan program yang digunakan, dan mengikuti kursus atau pelatihan sehingga rasa takut semakin berkurang.

Untuk Penelitian Selanjutnya Disarankan kepada peneliti selanjutnya untuk meneliti computer anxiety dan computer attitude dengan cara melakukan pengujian berdasarkan dimensi-dimensinya yakni: fear, anticipation, optimism, pessimism, dan intimidation sehingga dapat diketahui dengan jelas dari dimensi tersebut yang berpengaruh positif dan berpengaruh negatif terhadap keahlian penggunaan komputer.
