Abstract Erythropoietic is the formation processes from stem cells became erythrocytes; this processes were started from multi-potentially un-fate cells (hematopoietic stem cell/HSCs). From that cell will be differentiated becoming uni-potential cellular, one differentiated cells was erythrocyte. Tapak liman (Elephantopus scaber L) were used to activating Erythropoietic on hematopoietic stem cells. Hematopoietic stem cells were obtained from mouse bone marrow. 0 l, 250 l, 500 l, 750 ml and 1000 l of Tapak liman crude extract were solved on TCM 199 with 10% FBS (feutal bovine serum). This solution was used for Hematopuietic stem cells culture medium. HSCs were culture for 12 days and 48 hours medium exchange, they were incubated on CO2 5%, 37oC and maximum humidity. The result of the experiment show that the crude extracts from stem, leaf, and root of tapak liman giving no differential effected to activating the arythropuietic processes between them, but all of them giving positive impact to activating arythropuietic processes comparing control. Abstrak Erytropoiesis merupakan proses pembentukan sel eritrosit dari stem cell hematopoietic. Proses erytrhopoiesis dimulai dari sel induk multipotensial (hematopoietic stem cell). Dari beberapa sel induk multipotensial terbentuk sel-sel induk unipotensial yang masing-masing hanya membentuk satu jenis sel misalnya eritrosit. Pada penelitian ini digunakan tanaman tapak liman (Elephantopus scaber L) untuk melakukan aktifasi peristiwa erythropoiesis pada sel-sel punca Hematopietic. Sel punca Hematopietic berasal dari sumsum tulang belakang tikus, sedangkan crude extract dari tapak liman diperoleh melalui 2 metode yaitu metode ekstraksi metanol dan air, crude extract dengan komposisi 0 l, 250 l, 500 l, 750 ml dan 1000 l dilarutkan dengan pelarut TCM 199 dan 10% FBS (Feutal bovine serum), larutan ini digunakan sebagai media biak untuk kultur sel-sel punca hematopoietic. Kultur dilakukan selama 12 hari dengan pergantian medium setiap 48 jam. Hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa Batang , daun dan akar merupakan representasi dari keseluruhan tanaman tapak liman (Elephant opus scaber. L). Ternyata dari uji statistik masing-masing perkakuan diatas tidak menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang nyata (p>0,05), tetapi bila dibandingkan dengan tanpa perlakuan hasilnya berbeda sangat nyata (p<0.01). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa tapak liman (Elephantopus scaber. L) mempunyai potensi yang nyata dalam melakukan aktifasi terhadap peristiwa eritropuisis yang berasal dari sel punca hematopuitic Kata kunci: Tapak liman (Elephantopus scaber.
