Thank you for buying this Skytronic UHF Wireless System. Please read through these operation instructions so you will know how to operate your model properly. After you read it, put it away in a safe place for future reference.
PRECAUTIONS • Avoid exposure of the system to rain or moisture. • No user-serviceable parts inside the system. Refer all servicing to a qualified technician only. • Handle the wireless system carefully, dropping or other shocks may cause failure. • Avoid using the system where it may be subjected to heat, such as direct sunlight, near radiators or other heat sources. • Should any liquid be spilt on the system, stop using it immediately. It may be possible to dry the system, but you should have it checked by a qualified technician before using it again. • Take care with the main power adapter and lead. If damaged in any way, do not use the system and refer to a qualified technician for repair. • Only use the system with the supplied components. Do not attempt to use with any other main power supply adapter . • If the is not going to be used for a while, remove the battery to prevent leakage. In the event of electrolyte leakage inside the battery compartment, carefully remove the leakage with a damp cloth. Take care not to get battery electrolyte in contact with your skin, however if it does, wash your hands under a running tap. If electrolyte comes into contact with your eyes, seek medical advice immediately. • Only replace the battery with the same or an equivalent type. • Please dispose of old batteries in an environmentally friendly manner in accordance with the relevant legislation. • Do not use any solvents to clean any part of the wireless system. 3

Operation Unscrew the battery cover at the end of microphone, put a 9V battery into compartment observing correct polarity, then close the cover. Move "ON/OFF" switch to "ON" position, "PWR" indic ator will light for one second and then go off. This indicates correct operation. If it doesn't come on, please check the voltage of battery or polarity. If the "PWR" indicator lights red, this indicates the battery power is low. Please replace with a fresh battery. 4

RECEIVER FRONT PANEL Operation Fix the two antennas correctly. Switch on the power of receiver, the red indicator of power will come on to show it's working normally. Switch on the power of transmitter, the red indicator RF/channelA, RF/ channelB, will come on to show the signal is strong or not when it's working. AF LEVEL green indicators are blinking to show the audio level is high or low in using this wireless microphone system. Adjust the volume of the receiver/transmitter/amplifier according to request. Please switch off the receiver/ transmitter/amplifier when this wireless microphone system is not being used.

RECEIVER REAR PANEL SQUELCH The squelch control on the rear of the receiver is preset well at the factory, if you must use the system in an area with considerable RF interference and there is some noises from the receiver when your transmitter is off, you can adjust the squelch control, so the system will receive the signal from your transmitter only but squelch or eliminate the unwanted background RF noise. This adjustment can cause reduction in useable range of the wireless transmitter, so set the control to the lowest position that reliablely mutes the unwanted RF signals. Note that switching the microphone on and off can cause interference that will be heard if the microphone volume level of the amplifier system is still set high. 5

SYSTEM INSTALLATION Using the supplied screened jack-to-jack lead, connect from the MIXED jack socket to the "MIC IN" socket on amplifier. Another way, using optional lead of balanced output, connect from "XLR MIXED" socket on receiver to professional mixer. Plug the mains power adaptor from "DC 12V" jack to a suitable mains power socket. IMPORTANT Install main unit 1.5m higher than ground level and1.5m distance from wall

Hartelijk dank voor de aanschaf van ons Skytronic Draadloos Microfoon Systeem. Lees, alvorens dit artikel te gebruiken, de handleiding door en bewaar deze handleiding als naslagwerk.
VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN • Bewaar de verpakking zodat u indien het apparaat defect is, dit in de originele verpakking kunt opsturen om beschadigingen te voorkomen. • Voordat het apparaat in werking wordt gesteld, altijd eerst een deskundige raadplegen indien u niet op de hoogte bent met audio apparatuur. • In het apparaat bevinden zich onder spanning staande onderdelen; open daarom NOOIT dit apparaat • Verwijder of plaats een stekker/adaper nooit met natte handen resp. uit en in het stopcontact. • Indien het apparaat zo beschadigd is dat inwendige (onder)delen zichtbaar zijn mag de adapter NOOIT in het stopcontact worden geplaatst én het apparaat NOOIT worden ingeschakeld. Neem in dit geval contact op met de dealer. • Reparatie aan het apparaat dient te geschieden door resp. een vakman of een deskundige. • Sluit het apparaat alléén aan op een 230VAC / 50Hz (geaard)stopcontact, verbonden met een 10-16A meterkastgroep. • Toestel niet opstellen in de buurt van warmte bronnen zoals radiatoren etc. en niet op een vibrerende ondergrond plaatsen. Tevens dient u gebruik in een vochtige omgeving te vermijden. • Bij onweer altijd de adapter uit het stopcontact halen, zo ook wanneer het apparaat voor een langere tijd niet gebruikt wordt. • Als u het apparaat lang niet gebruikt heeft en het weer wil gebruiken kan er condens ontstaan; laat het apparaat eerst op kamertemperatuur komen alvorens het weer in werking te stellen. • Apparaat nooit in vochtige ruimten en buiten gebruiken. • Om ongevallen in bedrijven te voorkomen moét rekening worden gehouden met de daarvoor geldende richtlijnen en moeten de aanwijzingen/waarschuwingen worden opgevolgd. • Het apparaat buiten bereik van kinderen houden. • Gebruik geen schoonmaakspray om de regelaars te reinigen. Restanten van deze spray zorgen ervoor dat smeer en stof ophopen in de regelaars. Raadpleeg bij storing te allen tijde een deskundige. • Zorg dat uw handen schoon zijn tijdens het gebruik. • Gebruik geen overmatige kracht bij het bedienen van de schakelaars en knoppen. • Tracht het apparaat niet schoon te maken met chemische oplossingen. Dit kan de lak beschadigen. Gebruik een droge doek om schoon te maken. Laat vocht /vloeistof niet in het systeem binnendringen ivm kortsluiting. 9
• Blijf uit de buurt van electronische apparatuur die bromstoringen zouden kunnen veroorzaken. • Bij reparatie dienen altijd originele onderdelen te worden gebruikt om onherstelbare beschadigingen en/of ontoelaatbare straling te voorkomen. • Schakel eerst het toestel uit voordat u de adapter en/of aansluitsnoeren verwijdert.

Bediening Draai het batterijvak open en plaats een 9V batterij ; controleer de polariteit . Wanneer de Power schakelaar op ON wordt gezet brandt de Power led één seconde en gaat dan uit. Als de Led niet aangaat controleer dan de polariteit van de batterij. Wanneer de Led “rood” blijft branden is de batterij bijna leeg. Vervang de batterij en lever de lege batterij in als chemisch afval .
ONTVANGER VOORZIJDE Bediening Plaats de twee antennes ; bij het aanzetten van de ontvanger zal de Powerled gaan branden. Wanneer de microfoons worden ingeschakeld zal de rode led van RF-Kanaal A-B gaan branden. De AF-signaal indicatie (groen) van Kanaal A-B gaat knipperen naar gelang de sterkte van het audiosignaal. Deze kan worden afgeregeld met de volumeregelaar van Kanaal A-B. Schakel het systeem uit indien er geen gebruik meer van wordt gemaakt. 3

ONTVANGER ACHTERZIJDE Squelch De squelch is door de fabrikant standaard ingesteld ; indien in een omgeving hoogfrequent interferentie voorkomt en vanuit de versterker een storing/ruis klinkt als de microfoon is uitgeschakeld kan m.b.v. de squelchregelaar het systeem zo worden ingeregeld dat alleen het signaal afkomstig van de microfoon is te horen. Bij het in-en uitschakelen van de microfoon kan een plop/storing worden gehoord als het volume van de ontvanger te hard staat.

INSTALLATIE Installeer het draadloze microfoon systeem zoals hiervoor is weergegeven, sluit de ongebalanceerdeuitgang (12) van de ontvanger aan op de microfoon-ingang van een versterker. Indien gebruik gemaakt wordt van een mengpaneel kan XLR-uitgang 11 van de ontvanger aangesloten worden. Sluit het adaptersnoer aan op de 12V-ingang van de ontvanger en steek de adapter in het stopcontact. Zorg er echter wel voor dat regelaars zijn teruggeregeld alvorens de installatie aan te zetten. NB: Zet de installatie op +/- 1.5 mtr hoogte en niet tegen een muur (+/- 1.5 mtr verwijderd)
