The headlong development of computer technologies The headlong development of computer technologies of the information processing predetermine change of methods and ways of the decision of problems of mining manufacture. Last years an economic estimation of mineral deposits, the decision of geological problems and designing of deposit development to an increasing extent is based on a computer modelling of deposits. The complex, interconnected decision of problems of mining manufacture is only possible on the basis of creation a computer database with development conditions and logically interconnected algorithms of information processing . In the CIS countries a number of specialised software packages for deposits modelling are distributed. These are such software complexes as Micromine, Gemcom, Datamine, Surpack. Functions of these systems are identical. As a rule, in these systems construction of 3D deposit models, construction of cuts and projections, the decision of geological problems, designing and planning are provided. However, distribution of these software products a number of circumstances restrains. Firstly, the accepted techniques of deposits investigation and estimation of reserves in the CIS countries somewhat differ from those realized in the above mentioned software. Secondly, deposits are unique by the nature and it is not always possible to consider peculiarities of a specific deposit by means of a standard software package. Thirdly, a price of the foreign software is quite high and small mining enterprises can rarely afford to supply this software for workplaces of the personnel. The long-term experience of employees of Donetsk National Technical University and the firm “Geosoft” has allowed to create own modules of software support, which realises the following tasks:
creation of presentation 3D model of a deposit with simulation possible variants of mining works development and calculation of the basic economic-financial indicators;

Software packages are applied in industry on a number of Russian gold mining enterprises (in Transbaikalia, Primorski Krai, the Amur area). The developed software can be used for an estimation of investment appeal of gold mining enterprises, for business-plans elaboration for development of mining works, for current mining enterprise management. Using the software, models of some deposits were created: Zun-Kholbinskoe gold ore deposit, Mayskoe gold ore deposits (Chukotka), tungsten deposits Kholtosonskoye (Buryatiya). The developed software complex provides construction of a 3D graphical model of a deposit. The model includes following objects: samples, contours of mining excavations (ditches, drives), holes, blocks, ore bodies, surfaces, lithologic formations, geological abnormalities (pic. 1).

Dynamic 3D visualization of model is possible in software means, which provides a comprehensive study of a deposit, understanding of peculiarities of a geological structure and the prevalent structure of mining excavations. The basic functions of visualization: turn and moving a camera relatively of a point, scaling, change of a viewing angle, the central projection, parallel projection, “transparency” of objects, selective and full 3D visualization of objects, construction of cuts on wire-frame model in any plane, a possibility of an objects painting in a 3D window. The model allows to present a useful component allocation, to make the most efficient decisions on exploring and exploitation of a deposit. Results of modelling (both graphical and digital) can be easily exported to standards of other packages (MICROMINE, GEMCOM, AUTOCAD). The constructed model allows to calculate following parameters of objects:
volumes of ore bodies and excavations;
areas of profiles of excavations and blocks;
volumes of accompanying extraction, dilution and drops;
deposition angles of ore bodies and blocks.
Construction of model both an existing open pit on the fact data of surveyor observation (pic. 2) and a projected open pit according to surfaces contour lines of the open pit (pic. 3) is possible.
Picture 2: Model of an existing open pit on the fact data of surveyor observation Obr. 2: Model existujícího povrchového dolu založený na skutečných datech měřických měření The software module “Mine-geology”, being a component of a software complex, can be used for a standards basing; for the decision of questions of expediency of off-balance reserves involving during deposits designing and exploitation; for an estimation of expediency of investments attraction into the development of gold mining. The basic functionalities of the module:
input and display of the digital information on primary test of ore bodies on mining excavations and holes;
contouring an ore body on width and on plan with various variants standard parameters;
calculation of total lengths, meter-grams, average grades on sections;
119
formation of target documents for reserves estimation according to the established requirements (calculation of average grades, widths of sections and reserves of blocks);
numeralization of the information on primary tests of ore bodies and on layout of exploring excavations, borders of geological formations;
graphical modelling of a network of exploring excavations test and display of contouring ore bodies results.
Picture 3: Projected open pit according to surfaces contour lines Obr. 3: Projektovaný povrchový důl podle vrstevnic The source information necessary for functioning of a software complex includes: text information on belonging of exploring excavation to some ore bodies/blocks; characteristics of samples of each exploring excavation; information describing a spatial location of a exploring hole or section, graphical information on mining developments, borders of geological formations, etc. the Software complex provides graphical information output in the standard of engineering graphical packages (a format of dxf-files) and the digital information output in the standard of foreign packages for deposits modelling (GEMCOM and other). The model of a deposit is formed based on a documentation available at an enterprise. The developed software support allows to easily transform images of graphical objects (excavations, holes, bodies of a mineral) from 2D to 3D system of co-ordinates (pic. 1, 2). At that, unlike foreign packages, it is not required presence of digital co-ordinates of all objects. In the software complex the toolkit for changing, editing and creation of new objects is realized. Editing is possible not only in absolute co-ordinates, as in many other software complexes, but in any cuts and planes with their further output in file DXF, which enables to prepare report graphical documentation. Surveying, geological, designing and planning tasks are automated based on existing methods and techniques of surveyors, geologists and mining engineers. It causes understanding of principles of software functioning by the personnel and fast application automated workplaces in manufacture. The friendly interface of the software, an possibility of daily support by developers, enrolment the software to the real customer’s conditions provide effective exploitation of the software. Complex automation of the primary goals of mining manufacture allows proceed to construction of the integrated enterprise management system.

Micromine, Gemcom, Datamine, Surpack. Funkce těchto systémů jsou identické. Zpravidla tyto systémy poskytují trojrozměrnou konstrukci modelů ložisek konstrukci řezů a průmětů/nárysů, řešení geologických problémů, konstruování a projektování.
vytvoření prezentačního trojrozměrného modelu ložiska s možnými simulačními variantami přípravy dobývacích prací a výpočtu základních ekonomicko-finančních ukazatelů;
automatizované řešení geologických problémů – trojrozměrná vizualizace rozdělení užitkových složek, vymezení ložisek, výpočet zásob, příprava grafické dokumentace pro výpočet zásob;
automatizace problémů důlního měřictví - automatizace měřických pozorování pomocí počítače (průzkumný polygonový pořad, tachymetrie, nivelování), vytváření elektronické verze grafické dokumentace, výpočet ploch, objemů;
řešení problémů konstruování a projektování – konstrukce řezů a průmětů/nárysů, konstrukce projektovaných přípravných ražeb, výpočet a grafické znázornění plánu výroby a plánu přípravných prací;

realizace na vlastních softwarových modulech (na rozdíl od systémů orientovaných na AutoCAD a MapInfo) předurčující nízkou cenu softwaru, flexibilitu a nezávislost systému;
vyvinutý export/import grafických a digitálních informací do konvenčních standardních (dxf soubory grafických informací a dbf soubory digitálních informací), který umožňuje kompatibilitu systému a jinými balíky;
úprava za skutečných podmínek exploatace ložisek, provozní podpora softwaru tvůrcem;
