VOORWOORD, IDENTIFICATIE VAN HET APPARAAT, VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN EN WAARSCHUWINGEN VOOR GEVAREN
VOORWOORD Algemeen Deze handleiding is bedoeld voor de gebruiker van de Fri-jado HTT 60. De mogelijkheden en de bediening worden beschreven, waarbij tevens aanwijzingen worden gegeven om het apparaat gedurende lange tijd op een zo veilig en efficiënt mogelijke wijze te gebruiken. Pictogrammen en symbolen In deze handleiding worden de volgende pictogrammen en symbolen gebruikt: Suggesties en adviezen om betreffende taken of handelingen gemakkelijker uit te kunnen voeren. WAARSCHUWING Duidt op mogelijk lichamelijk letsel of ernstige schade aan het apparaat als de instructies niet zorgvuldig worden opgevolgd. WAARSCHUWING Gevaar voor elektrische spanning. WAARSCHUWING Gevaar voor oppervlakken met een hoge temperatuur.
Service en technische ondersteuning Het voor uw apparaat van toepassing zijnde elektrisch schema is aangebracht in de ruimte waarin zich de elektrische componenten bevinden. Bij storingen kunt u zich richten tot uw leverancier/servicedienst. Zorg dat u daarbij de volgende gegevens bij de hand hebt: -

IDENTIFICATIE VAN HET APPARAAT De typeplaat bevindt zich aan de bedienzijde en bevat de volgende gegevens: -

Algemeen De fabrikant aanvaardt geen enkele aansprakelijkheid voor schade of letsel veroorzaakt door het niet (strikt) naleven van de veiligheidsvoorschriften en -instructies in deze handleiding, dan wel door onachtzaamheid tijdens installatie, gebruik, onderhoud en reparatie van het in dit document vermelde apparaat en de eventueel bijbehorende accessoires. Gebruikershandleiding ■ Een ieder die aan of met het apparaat werkt, dient van de inhoud van deze handleiding op de hoogte te zijn en de instructies daarin nauwgezet op te volgen.

Pictogrammen en instructies op het apparaat (indien aanwezig) ■ Op het apparaat aangebrachte pictogrammen, waarschuwingen of instructies maken deel uit van de getroffen veiligheidsvoorzieningen. Ze mogen niet worden afgedekt of verwijderd en dienen gedurende de gehele levensduur van het apparaat aanwezig en leesbaar te zijn. ■

WAARSCHUWING Het is noodzakelijk dat de producten onmiddellijk na bereiding in het apparaat geplaatst worden. De kerntemperatuur van de producten moet op dat moment minimaal 85 ºC bedragen.
Gebruikers Gebruik van het apparaat is uitsluitend voorbehouden aan daartoe opgeleide en bevoegde gebruikers. Gebruik volgens bestemming *1 WAARSCHUWING • De warmhoudvitrine is uitsluitend ontworpen om warme snack-producten warm te houden en te presenteren. Elk ander gebruik geldt niet als conform de bestemming. Voor schade of letsel dat hiervan het gevolg is, aanvaardt de fabrikant geen enkele aansprakelijkheid. Het apparaat is in overeenstemming met de Europese richtlijnen en normen zoals vermeld in de met uw apparaat geleverde CE-verklaring. Gebruik het apparaat uitsluitend in technisch perfecte conditie, conform de hierboven beschreven bestemming.

Het apparaat is in staat om gedurende vier uur een kerntemperatuur van 61 ºC te behouden. WAARSCHUWING Houd de deuren aan de achterzijde gesloten als zich producten in het apparaat bevinden. Open ze zo kort mogelijk tijdens het beladen of uitnemen van product. ■

Het apparaat is alleen geschikt voor gebruik binnenshuis

WAARSCHUWING Neem voor verplaatsen van het apparaat de stekker uit het stopcontact. ■
Service, onderhoud en reparaties (indien noodzakelijk) In deze handleiding wordt een duidelijk onderscheid gemaakt in service-, onderhouds- en reparatiewerkzaamheden die door de gebruiker mogen worden verricht, en die welke uitsluitend zijn voorbehouden aan daartoe opgeleide en bevoegde servicetechnici.
Maak het apparaat regelmatig schoon voor behoud van een correcte werking.
Belading ■ Plaats alleen producten waarvan de kerntemperatuur minimaal 85 °C bedraagt. ■
Plaats één laag producten om een goed kontact met de verwarmde warmde plateaus te verzekeren.
Hygiëne De kwaliteit van een vers product is altijd mede afhankelijk van de hygiëne bij het bewaren en behandelen. Dit geldt in hoge mate voor grillproducten. In verband met de overdracht van de salmonellabacterie dient u er, in het bijzonder bij kip- en kalkoenproducten, voor te zorgen dat reeds gegrilleerde producten niet meer in aanraking komen met rauwe producten. Contact van gegrilleerde producten met handen of gereedschappen die in aanraking zijn geweest met rauw vlees, moet te allen tijde worden vermeden. Indien handen en/of gereedschappen in aanraking zijn geweest met rauw vlees, moeten deze grondig worden gereinigd.
WAARSCHUWING Omwille van de hygiëne en de optimale staat van het apparaat is het belangrijk om vanaf het begin een vast dagelijks patroon van reinigen aan te houden. ■
Respecteer de in hoofdstuk 5 gegeven onderhoudsintervallen. WAARSCHUWING In verband met gevaar voor kortsluiting mag het apparaat niet worden schoongemaakt met behulp van een waterslang.
■
Respecteer de in hoofdstuk 6 gegeven aanwijzingen in geval van storing.
GEBRUIKTE MATERIALEN EN HET MILIEU Verpakkingsmateriaal Alle door Fri-jado gebruikte verpakkingsmaterialen zijn recyclebaar: -
onbehandeld hout karton polyethyleen folie styropor polypropyleen bindband

Deponeer dit materiaal niet bij het bedrijfsafval maar informeer bij de reinigingsdienst van uw gemeente hoe u het moet aanbieden.

INLEIDING
1.1
Beschrijving van het proces
Verwarmde plateaus en warme omgevingslucht houden de producten warm. TL-lampen zorgen voor de verlichting.
1.2
Zorg dat het eigen personeel voldoende ruimte heeft om het apparaat te bedienen.
■
Houd rekening met de bereikbaarheid in geval van onderhouds- en servicewerkzaamheden.
■
Zorg dat de omgevingstemperatuur niet minder dan 20 °C en niet meer dan 30 °C bedraagt, bij een RV van 60 - 90 %
■
Breng de dia aan.
Beschrijving van het apparaat
Het plaatwerk is uitgevoerd in roestvrijstaal en aluminium. Het glas van de deuren aan de achterzijde en het zijglas is gehard. De frontruiten en de afscherming voor de dia zijn vervaardigd van polycarbonaat. In het apparaat bevinden zich twee uitneembare plateaus die zich boven verwarmde platen bevinden. Onder de verwarmde platen bevinden zich verwarmingselementen die door middel van een instelbare thermostaat, met een nul-stand, ingeschakeld en in temperatuur geregeld worden. De verlichting wordt met de schakelaar ingeschakeld. Het is mogelijk om dia’s met productafbeeldingen aan te brengen in de display/diahouder.

UITPAKKEN/INSTALLATIE

Verwijder de folie van alle metalen delen.
■
Verwijder alle verpakkingsmaterialen uit het apparaat.
■
Controleer het apparaat op beschadigingen.
■
Controleer of alle onderdelen, die bij de door u bestelde uitvoering behoren, aanwezig zijn.
■
Laat het apparaat afkoelen.
■
Verwijder binnenin het apparaat de moeren die zich naast de dia display opening bevinden.
■
Schuif de polycarbonaat platen naar boven en neem deze uit het profiel aan de onderzijde.
■
Breng de dia tussen de platen.
■
Monteer in omgekeerde volorde.
Lees de handleiding voordat u verder gaat.
Indien onderdelen ontbreken of beschadigd zijn, neem dan contact op met uw leverancier.

Installatie Stel het apparaat zo op dat uw klanten onbelemmerd zicht hebben op de producten.

Draai de moeren niet geheel vast om beweging van de platen tijdens het uitzetten mogelijk te maken.

WAARSCHUWING Het apparaat is uitgevoerd met een CEEform stekker. De wandcontactdoos (WCD) dient door een erkend installateur te worden aangelegd. Zie hoofdstuk 7 voor de benodigde elektrische installatie. Indien u het apparaat tijdelijk niet gebruikt en wilt opslaan: • Reinig het zorgvuldig. • Verpak het stofvrij. • Bewaar het op een droge plaats om achteruitgang van kwaliteit te voorkomen.

Reinig voordat u het apparaat in gebruik neemt de binnenzijde grondig met sop. Wrijf na met een in schoon water bevochtigde doek om sopresten te verwijderen en droog alles af.

Schakel de verlichting uit.

Zet de thermostaat op “0”.

ONDERHOUD
5.1
Dagelijks onderhoud
BEDIENING WAARSCHUWING Neem altijd de volgende maatregelen om gevaar van elektrische schok te voorkomen: • Schakel de verlichting uit. • Schakel de verwarming uit. • Neem de stekker uit het stopcontact.
De bedieningswijze wordt in de volgende paragrafen besproken.

Inschakelen

Steek de stekker in het stopcontact.

Zet de thermostaat op de hoogst mogelijke waarde.
■

Verwarm het apparaat 40 minuten voor.

Gebruik geen staalspons. Hierdoor ontstaan krassen waarin vuil achterblijft. WAARSCHUWING Gebruik geen ovenreiniger of andere agressieve middelen op polycarbonaat omdat het daardoor aangetast kan worden.
■
Verwijder producten uit het apparaat.
■
Laat het toestel afkoelen tot ca. 50 °C.
Zet de thermostaat op de gewenste waarde.

Binnenzijde De binnenzijde van het apparaat maakt u schoon met heet water en een daarvoor geschikt product. Droog na het reinigen de binnenzijde met een schone doek af. Zorg ervoor dat geen reinigingsmiddel achterblijft. De plateaus kunnen uitgenomen worden.
4.2
Controleren van de producttemperatuur
■
Meet elk uur de producttemperatuur met een digitale thermometer en houdt notities bij van de gemeten waarden.
■
Gebruik altijd een gedesinfecteerde thermometervoeler.
Buitenzijde De buitenzijde van het apparaat maakt u schoon met een kleine hoeveelheid heet water met een mild reinigingsmiddel en met behulp van een zachte borstel of spons. Droog na het reinigen de buitenzijde met een doek af. ■
Behandel alle oppervlakken na met een voor dit doel geschikt antibacterieel middel.

Wrijf na met een zachte doek of een papieren handdoek. WAARSCHUWING Vocht in het elektrisch gedeelte kan kortsluiting veroorzaken. Het apparaat mag dan ook nooit met behulp van een waterslang worden gereinigd.
5.2 ■
STORINGEN EN SERVICE/ HOE TE HANDELEN
Voordat u bij een optredende storing uw leverancier/servicedienst raadpleegt, kunt u de volgende punten zelf controleren: Storing: Het apparaat werkt niet -
Zit de stekker in het stopcontact?

Is de stroomvoorziening in orde ? Controleer de zekeringen en de aardlekschakelaar in meterkast.
-
Staan alle schakelaars in de juiste stand?
Wekelijks onderhoud Controleer het netsnoer op beschadigingen. WAARSCHUWING Neem bij beschadiging van het netsnoer onmiddellijk contact op met uw leverancier/servicedienst. Directe vervanging is noodzakelijk in verband met mogelijk optredend gevaar. WAARSCHUWING Doe het volgende voor telkens één zijkant tegelijk:

Schakel bij een van de onderstaande storingen het apparaat uit, neem de stekker uit het stopcontact en neem contact op met uw leverancier/servicedienst. -
Eén van de plateaus wordt niet warm.
-
De temperatuur wordt te hoog.
Verwijder de schroeven uit het zijglas.
■
Schuif het glas voorzichtig naar de voorzijde.
■
Neem het zijglas uit de geleiding en leg het op een veilige plaats.
■
Verwijder alle vuil uit de geleidingen en reinig met heet water en een mild schoonmaakmiddel.
■
Neem af met een doek en schoon water.
■
Wrijf na met een zachte doek of een papieren handdoek.
■
Behandel alle delen na met een voor dit doel geschikt antibacterieel middel.
■
Reinig het zijglas.
■
Breng het zijglas aan.
De onderstaande storing kunt u zelf verhelpen: WAARSCHUWING Neem altijd de volgende maatregelen om gevaar van elektrische schok te voorkomen: • Schakel de verlichting uit. • Schakel de verwarming uit. • Neem de stekker uit het stopcontact. ■

Laat het apparaat minimaal een half uur afkoelen.

Vervangen van een lamp

Wanneer na jarenlang gebruik uw apparaat aan vervanging toe is, zal uw Fri-jado leverancier u hierover graag adviseren. Tevens kunt u advies vragen aangaande de verwijdering van uw gebruikte apparaat dat nog waardevolle stoffen en materialen bevat.
Verwijder de lamp door deze een kwart slag te draaien en uit de lamphouders te nemen. WAARSCHUWING De TL-Lampen zijn voorzien van een speciale coating die glasscherven en aanraking van elektrische delen bij stoten voorkomt. Vervang beschadigde lampen onmiddellijk door hetzelfde type gecoate lampen.
VERWIJDEREN
Let er op dat materialen volgens de op dat moment ter plaatse geldende milieuvoorschriften worden behandeld.
Vervangen van ruiten Alle in het apparaat toegepaste glazen ruiten zijn vervaardigd uit gehard glas. Indien ruiten moeten worden vervangen, gebruik dan hetzelfde materiaal.

Service, maintenance and repairs (if necessary) This manual clearly makes a distinction between service maintenance and repair jobs which have to be carried out by the user and those which have to be exclusively carried out by well trained and authorised service engineers.
Loading ■ Only place products that have a core temperature of at least 85 °C. ■
To ensure good contact with the heated trays, only place a single layer of products.
Hygiene The quality of a fresh product is always partially dependent on hygienic conditions. This is especially true for grill products. Due to the possibility of transferring salmonella bacteria, you should ensure that already grilled products, especially chicken and turkey products do not come into contact with raw products. Contact between grilled products and hands or tools that come into contact with raw chicken or turkey meat should also be avoided at all times. If hands and/or tools have come into contact with raw chicken or turkey meat, the hands and tools should be cleaned thoroughly.
WARNING! In the interest of hygiene and the optimal condition of the unit it is important that from the very beginning a set daily pattern be followed with regard to cleaning the unit. ■
Adhere to the maintenance intervals specified in chapter 5. WARNING! In relation to the danger of short circuits the unit must not be cleaned using a water hose.

Respect the instructions given in chapter 6 regarding what to do in case of malfunction.

Description of the process
Description of the unit
The panels are made of stainless steel and aluminium. The glass of the back doors and the side glass is tempered. The front doors and protection over the slide are made of polycarbonate. Two removable trays are placed over heated plates, of which the temperature is switched on and regulated by a thermostat with a zero-position. The lighting is switched on with the switch. Product photographs may be inserted in the display/slideholder.

Allow the unit to cool down.

Remove both nuts on the inside, next to the slide display opening.
■
Slide the polycarbonate plates upwards, taking them out of the bottom profile.
■
Apply the slide between the two plates.
■
Assemble in reverse order. Do not fasten the nuts fully, to allow movement of the plates during expanding.
■
Remove the foil from all metal parts.
■
Remove all packaging materials from the unit.
■
Inspect the unit for damage.
■
Make sure that all parts that belong to the model you have ordered are present.
■
Read the manual before proceeding.
If any parts are missing or damaged, contact your supplier.

Placing the slide

WARNING! The unit has a CEE*-standard plug (*for UK: BS 1363 A). An authorised installer must install the wall outlet. See chapter 7 for the necessary electrical installation. If the unit is to be out of use temporarily and you wish to store it: • Clean it thoroughly. • Pack it dustfree. • Store it in a dry place to prevent it from deteriorating in quality.

FIRST USE

Before starting to use the unit clean the inside thoroughly with detergent and water. After cleaning it wipe it with a cloth moistened with clean water to remove detergent residual, then dry the entire unit.

Switch off the lighting.

Set the thermostat to “0”.

Do not use steel wool. This can cause scratches in which dirt can get stuck. WARNING! Do not use oven cleaning agent or other aggressive means on polycar-bonate as this may damage the surface.
Inside Clean the inside of the unit with hot water and a suitable cleanser. After cleaning wipe the inside with a clean wet cloth. Be sure that the detergent is removed properly. The trays can be taken out.
Checking the product temperature Once every hour, the product temperature should be checked using a digital thermometer. Write down the measured values in a log.
Outside Clean the outside of the unit with a small amount of hot water and a mild cleanser and using a soft brush or sponge. After cleaning it dry the outside with a cloth. ■
Treat all cleaned surfaces with a suitable antibacterial agent.
■
Rub dry with a soft cloth or a paper towel.
Always use a disinfected thermometer sensor.

WARNING! Moisture in the electrical compartment can cause short circuits. The unit must never be cleaned using a water hose.

FAULTS AND SERVICE/ WHAT TO DO
Before you consult your dealer or the service agency when there is a fault, you can check the following points yourself:
Weekly maintenance Fault: the unit does not work

Inspect the electrical cord for damage. WARNING! Contact your supplier/service agency immediately when the electric cable is damaged. Immediate replacement is necessary because of possible danger. WARNING! Do the following for one side at a time:
■
Remove the screws from the side glass.
■
Carefully slide the glass towards the front of the unit.
■
Take the side glass from the channels.
■
Remove all debris from the channels and clean using a mild detergent degreaser.

Is the plug in the outlet?
-
Is the power supply OK? Check the fuses and the earth leakage switch in the meter cupboard.
-
Are all the switches in the correct position?
In case of one of the below faults, remove the plug from the outlet and contact your supplier/ service agency. -
One of the trays does not heat up.

The temperature rises too much.
You can correct the below fault yourself: WARNING! Always take the following steps in order to prevent danger of electrical shock: • Switch off the lighting. • Switch off the heat. • Remove the plug from the outlet.

Wash with a cloth and hot water.
■
Treat all surfaces with a suitable antibacterial agent.
■
Clean the side glass.
■
■
Rub dry with a soft cloth or a paper towel.
Replacing a lamp
■
Mount the side glass.
■
Let the unit cool off for at least one half-hour.
Rotate the lamp 90 degrees and slide from the lamp holders. WARNING! De TL-Lamps are finished with a special coating that prevents contacts with glass shards and electrical components following breakage. Replace damaged lamps immediately with the same type of coated lanps.

Replacing windows

All glass windows used in the unit are made of tempered glass. If windows must be replaced, use the same material.

REMOVAL
If after years of use your unit needs to be replaced, your Fri-jado supplier will be glad to advise you. You can also obtain advice concerning the removal of your used unit that still contains valuable substances and materials.
