Lappenpoppen For English please scroll down.
Find A la Sascha on:

Oh my, it's been such a long time since I blogged lately! But I've been very busy behind the scenes and a lot of exciting new stuff is coming soon, so it's about time for a little update! One of my newest collections is the Ragdoll collection. They've all been made using Scheepjeswol Stone washed and crochet hook 3mm or D. They're much fun to make and even more to play with ;) And there are more Ragdoll patterns coming soon! Some of them are harder than others because they require Intarsia color work, but I think they are easy to crochet for any advanced beginner and up. Click the pictures to go to the patterns! 7 opmerkingen:

The Kiss... *Free pattern! For English please scroll down!

http://sascha-lovetoknit.blogspot.nl/ Tuesday 14th of October 2014 07:09:20 AM Signora Anna Gorinchem Voor creatieve handwerkideeën ruim 150 kleuren katoen voorradig
-----------------------------------------Together with the other "Samenspinsels" member we've made another little countdown calender to valentine's day with creative freebies. This time I've made a little chart with endless possibilities. Off course it fits right in the theme with this image of a cute little kissing couple also known as The Kiss. For example I've made this potholder. There are 2 things you need to keep in mind when crocheting a pattern with more colors: -The prettiest way to change colors is to complete the last step of previous stitch with the new color, for example when the last stitch is a sc, the last yarn over and pull through 2 loops will be with the new color. -For this pattern you’ll keep changing colors all the time, I’ve carried the colors along while using the second color, this means you’ll hold the yarn of the color you’re not using on top of the stitches you are going to work in, so you won’t see loose threads on the wrong side of your work. I found this video in which these 2 tips are applied.

http://sascha-lovetoknit.blogspot.nl/ Tuesday 14th of October 2014 07:09:20 AM I've used crochet hook 3mm and 100% cotton aran weight yarn. The pattern: 1. Chain 32, 1 single crochet in 2nd chain from hook, single crochet in each stitch to end (31 stitches) 2. Turn, chain 1, this chain doesn't count as first stitch now and throughout, single crochet in each stitch to end (31 stitches) 3. to 31 Repeat 2. During this pattern you'll crochet the chart above. Edging: 1. With pink: single crochet evenly around all sides of thesquare, in each corner stitch you'll make 3 single crochet. 2. With blue: *1 single crochet, chain 3* repeat around. In the last corner you'll chain 10 in stead of 3 to make the loop for hanging. Weave in your ends and your potholder is done!. Obviously you can make a lot of fun things with this chart. For example I've ade a little cross stitch embroidery work, you could include it in your knitting or even make a granny square blanket out of it! Update Design Wars 5: The Keyhole Cowl I've allready told you I'm competing in this round of Design Wars here. Well the competition is coming to an end and I wanted to take a moment to show you my design, The Keyhole Cowl. I love to design shawls and cowls. This wrap has the best of those two items in one! It looks like a beautiful triangle shawl which can be draped to your liking, but has two keyholes to close the shawl like a cowl so it won’t slip off. The combination of an oversized hook and a delicate knit-look stitch make this cowl light, drapy and very comfortable to wear. Once I started making examples I couldn’t stop and used a lot of different and preferably contrasting colors, the pattern comes with a lot of color inspiration varying from 2 contrasting colors to stripes or even a colourful patchwork design. The basic pattern provides three sizes: baby, child and adult! It is an easy pattern, suitable for advanced beginners and experienced crocheters too! I think this pattern represents anything I try to stand for as a designer, it’s beautiful, practical, different, customizable, wearable and I think you’ll love it! Materials: -Red Heart Soft Yarn (92m-265m) -Crochet hook 8mm/L This pattern contains both written instructions and a crochet symbol chart. All my patterns are available in Both English and Dutch. You can find this pattern on Etsy and Ravelry. If you're curious to see what the other competitors have come up with, you can view their designs

Design Wars 5
It's been kind of quiet here lately and if you follow me on Facebook you'll probably know why ;) I'm so proud to be a guest challenger in Design Wars 5! For those of you who haven't heard of it, it's a very exciting crochet design challenge created by the wonderful Salena Baca. The challengers all receive a package of the same yarn, sponsored by Red Heart Yarns, to create a new pattern with. Since I heard about this contest in 2012 it's allways been a dream of mine to compete, so you can imagine how happy I was when I got the news of being a challenger this round!

9 opmerkingen:

Pretty Pineapple Shawl A brand new pattern which I'm really proud of... If you love crochet, you'll probably love those beautiful lacy pineapple patterns. Well, I sure do, but I'm not one for table cloths, so I turned it into a wearable item, a shawl! You can read more about it and find the pattern on Etsy or Ravelry. On Ravelry you can allso view the shawls others have made so far. Pleae don't let that lacework scare you, If you read carefully, the patterns isn't really difficult!
