(To prevent fire or electric shock) ●Do not damage, modify, immoderately bend, twist, pull, or bundle them. Do not put them close to heating appliances. Do not put anything heavy on them. ●Do not connect/disconnect them with wet hand. ●Do not hold the cord when pulling out of the socket. ●Do not use a damaged cord and power plug. Also, do not use them when the socket is loose.

●This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. ●Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Matters to be observed (To prevent fire or electric shock) ●Use a socket solely that satisfies the rating requirement. (Using in combination with other appliances could cause fire.) ●Insert the power plug all the way seated. ●Wipe the plug periodically with dry cloth. (Accumulated dust collects moisture, which may cause insulation failure, resulting in fire.) ●Pull out the cord before cleaning or when not used for a long period of time. ●If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified person to avoid a hazard.

In case of emergency or operation failure, stop using the washing machine immediately and pull out the power plug. (To prevent fume, fire or electric shock) ●No operation even at power on, accumulated dust and moisture on the power plug, abnormal sound in operation, burnt odour, etc. →Consult a service person for inspection and repair immediately.

Never disassemble, repair or remodel. (To prevent fire or abnormal operation, resulting in injury.)

Keep fire away from the main unit. (To prevent fire)

Do not touch the tub until it completely stops. (Your fingers may be entangled in the laundry even during slow rotation, resulting in injury.) If the tub does not stop within 15 seconds when the lid is opened during spin cycle, switch off the washing machine immediately and call a service person.

Do not splash water over the washing machine. Do not install at a damp place or a place which may be exposed to rain, water, etc. (To prevent electric shock or fire) ●Balcony, bathroom, etc.

Make sure to provide a ground. (To prevent electric shock by short circuit) ●Ask a service person for grounding work. ●In case of 2 pin power cords, establish a ground.

Prohibited matters ●The new hose-sets supplied with the appliance are to be used and the old hose-sets should not be reused. ●Do not insert your hand or foot under the main unit. (To prevent from getting caught in the rotation part, resulting in injury.) ●Do not climb up or put heavy things on the washing machine. ●If the lid is broken, stop using this machine immediately. (To prevent deformation and breakage, resulting in injury) ●Do not connect to a water heater or directly pour water of 50°C or more into the tub. (The plastic parts may be deformed, resulting in electrical leakage or electric shock.) ●Do not install at uneven or unstable locations.

The buzzer beeps and operation stops before the final rinse cycle. buzzer Peep (5 times) After the buzzer beeps, dilute your preferred amount of softener with water and directly put in the tub. ●You cannot select 5 Fragrance course during Child Lock (P.10). ●If you do not open the lid for 1 hour or more during 5 Fragrance course after the buzzer sounds, the operation will resume.

This extracts water from clothes by air blow utilising the tub rotation. (Agitation is performed approx. every 30 minutes to untangle the laundry.)

The power consumption is lower than that of Normal course.

Installation

■ If the installation, test run and inspection of the washing machine are not carried out following this installation method, Panasonic will not be liable for any accident or damage caused. ■ Make sure to ask a service person for installation. Do not install by yourself.

1. Check the installation location. ■ Avoid the following locations for installation. • Locations where there is a possibility of freezing. • Locations exposed to direct sunlight (To prevent malfunction or deformation) • Uneven or unstable locations (on blocks, timbers, table with wheels attached, etc.)

2. Attach the bottom cover. Preparation: Set a cardboard, etc. and lay the washing machine on it, avoiding product damage and deformation. (Face the front side down.)

4. Connect the water tap adaptor and water supply hose.

Cannot change the operation contents. (after start)

● The contents can be changed in Wash process by pressing “Pause”. To change the course or to change the contents after Rinse process, turn the power off and then on again.

No water supply.

● Is the water faucet turned on? ● Water failure? ● Is the water supply filter clogged with dust? (P.11)

Water is supplied in the middle of Wash process.

● When level goes down, water is supplied automatically. ● With large amount of laundry, water is supplied several times automatically.

The water level is too high for the amount of laundry.

● If the laundry is wet or if there is water in the tub before operation, the water level may be higher.

The water level is too low for the amount of laundry.

● With light clothes (synthetic fibre, etc.), the water level may be lower.

The operation started with Rinse process, however, water is not supplied.

● If there is no water in the tub, water is supplied after spin. ● If there is water in the tub, water is supplied after water discharge.

The operation suddenly changes to rinse process in the middle of spin process./ Only spin is desired, however, the operation starts with rinse.

● If the laundry is unevenly placed in the tub, the machine starts to rinse and automatically corrects the arrangement. (Put the laundry as evenly as possible.)

Irregular rotation during spin.

● The tub rotation speed is adjusted to reduce bubble foaming during spin.

Power failure./ The breaker has tripped.

● The operation will stop. When power is recovered, the operation will resume. (“Auto Restart” indicator lights up.)

Water failure.

● After water supply is recovered, remove the water supply hose to release muddy water from the faucet, and start the operation.

Operation does not finish even after the reservation time.

● Operation time will become longer if laundry leans to one side or water supply or drainage is ill-conditioned.

Cannot select 5 Fragrance course.

● If Child Lock (P.10) has been set, 5 Fragrance course cannot be selected.

Error Messages If the buzzer sounds and “U”/“H” and “Number” are alternately displayed, check the following. If the problem persists or any other malfunctions occur, pull out the power plug and contact a service person for service. ●Cancel Child Lock (P.10) when it is active.



Symptoms

Water cannot be drained.

● Is it crushed? ● Is lint clogged? ● Is the tip soaked in water? ● Is a part of hose at a height of over 10 cm midway? (P.12) ● Is the extension hose longer than 3 m? (P.12)

The operation will resume by open/close of the lid.

● Is the lid open?

The lid is open.

Spin or Air Dry does not work.

Water cannot be supplied.

Laundry ● Is the laundry on one side? →Arrange the laundry evenly in the tub, and then close the lid. ● Is the washing machine on an unstable location or inclined floor surface? →The operation will resume by open/close of the lid.

● Is the water faucet turned on? ● Water failure? ● Is the water supply filter clogged with dust? (P.11)

● Water is forcibly drained since the lid has been open for 10 seconds or more with Child Lock (P.10) function set. →Pull out the power plug and reconnect after 5 seconds.

● Inspection is required. →Pull out the power plug. Then, contact a service person and explain the displayed content (2-digit number after “H”).

Prosedur Keamanan Untuk mencegah risiko berupa bahaya terhadap manusia atau kerusakan barang, pastikan Anda mengikuti prosedur keselamatan yang diuraikan di bawah.

PERINGATAN ■ Untuk Kabel Listrik dan Steker Hal-hal yang dilarang (Untuk mencegah kebakaran atau sengatan listrik) ●Jangan merusak, mengubah, membengkokkan dengan tidak wajar, memuntir, menarik, atau menggulungnya. Jangan meletakkannya di dekat alat pemanas. Jangan meletakkan benda berat apa pun di atasnya. ●Jangan menyambungkan/melepaskan sambungan dengan tangan basah. ●Jangan menarik kabel untuk mencabut steker. ●Jangan gunakan kabel dan steker yang sudah rusak. (Kotoran yang menumpuk dapat menimbulkan kelembapan, sehingga mengakibatkan kerusakan insulasi yang memicu kebakaran.) ●Cabut kabel sebelum membersihkan atau ketika tidak digunakan untuk waktu yang lama. ●Jika kabel listrik rusak, maka harus diganti oleh pihak produsen, perwakilan servis atau orang yang ahli untuk menghindari bahaya.

Dalam kondisi darurat atau terjadi kegagalan operasi, hentikan penggunaan mesin cuci secepatnya dan cabut kabel listriknya.
