Historie města Farní ves Třešť byla založena v průběhu 13. století na křižovatce dvou obchodních cest - Lovětínské a Humpolecké. První písemná zpráva o Třešti pochází z roku 1349. V průběhu staletí Třešť měnila majitele, ale i víru – jednou byla luteránská, jednou katolická. Ve městě se rozvíjela řemesla a vzkvétaly cechy. Roku 1753 žilo v Třešti 187 řemeslnických mistrů a 19 tovaryšů. V 19. století vznikly v Třešti továrny na výrobu sukna, nábytku a sirek, později vznikl průmysl oděvnický a strojírenský. U zrodu průmyslu stáli místní židovští podnikatelé. Kolem roku 1845 zde žilo více jak šest set Židů, jejich počet postupně klesal, až roku 1929 žilo v Třešti pouze 38 židovských obyvatel, kteří se stali obětí holocaustu. Roku 1901 byla Třešť povýšena na město. Téhož roku císař František Josef I. povolil užívat městský znak vencelíkovského stříbrného jednorožce v modrém

štítě. V roce 1998 bylo městu uděleno právo užívat městský prapor. V současné době má město necelých 6000 obyvatel, včetně lidí žijících v místních částech Buková, Čenkov a Salavice. The history of the town A parish village of Třešť was founded in the course of the 13th century at the crossroads of two trade routes – Lovětín trade route and Humpolec trade route. The first written record mentioning Třešť dates back to 1349. In the course of centuries Třešť has belonged to various owners but also changed its faith – at one time it was Lutheran, at another it was Catholic. The settlement was full of developing crafts and flourishing guilds. In 1753 187 master craftsmen and 19 apprentices lived in Třešť. In the 19th century factories for production of woollen fabric, furniture and matches were set up in Třešť, later footwear industry and mechanic engineering became established in the town.

The genesis of industry in the settlement is closely related to Jewish entrepreneurs. Around 1845 more than six hundred Jews lived in Třešť, the number gradually declined until 1929 when there were only 38 Jewish inhabitants, who later fell victim to holocaust. In 1901 Třešť was promoted to a town. The very same year Emperor Franz Joseph I approved the use of the town’s coats of arms – a silver unicorn on a blue background that originally belonged to the Vencelík family. In 1998 the town was granted the right to use a town flag.

Geschichte der Stadt Das Pfarrdorf Třešť wurde im 13. Jahrhundert an der Kreuzung zweier Handelswege - nach Lovětín und nach Humpolec - gegründet. Die erste schriftliche Erwähnung Třešts stammt aus dem Jahre 1349. Im Laufe der Jahrhunderte wechselte Třešť nicht nur seine Besitzer, sondern auch die Religion - mal war es lutherisch, mal katholisch. In der Stadt entwickelte sich das Handwerk und blühten die Zünfte. Im Jahre 1753 hatte Třešť 187 Handwerksmeister und 19 Gesellen. Im 19. Jahrhundert wurden in Třešť eine Tuch-, eine Möbel- und eine Zündholzfabrik errichtet, später kam Bekleidungsund Maschinenindustrie dazu. Zur Industrialisierung leisteten die örtlichen jüdischen Unternehmer ihren Beitrag. Um 1845 lebten hier mehr als sechshundert Juden, deren Anzahl allmählich zurückging. Im Jahre 1929 verblieben in Třešť nur 38 jüdische Einwohner, die dann dem Holocaust zum Opfer fielen. Im Jahre 1901 erhielt Třešť das Stadtrecht. Im selben Jahr bewilligte Kaiser Franz Joseph I. der Stadt die Verwendung des Stadtwappens - ein silbernes Einhorn auf blauem Schild von Vencelík. Im Jahre 1998 wurde der Stadt das Recht zuerkannt, eine Stadtflagge zu verwenden. Gegenwärtig hat die Stadt knapp 6000 Einwohner, einschließlich jener, die in den Ortsteilen Buková, Čenkov und Salavice wohnen. Kostel sv. Martina Nejstarší architektonickou památkou ve městě je farní kostel sv. Martina. Byl založen ve 13. století, dostavěn ve druhé polovině 15. století a později barokně upraven. V 18. století byla vystavěna nová kruchta, jižní sakristie a panská oratoř. Věž měla tři zvony, které byly v roce 1942 odvezeny, o osm let později byl pořízen nový zvon sv. Josef. Zajímavým prvkem na kostele je gotický náhrobek Jana z Hodic, renesanční náhrobek Kryštofa Vencelíka a pozdně gotická kamenná kazatelna. V celém areálu se dále nachází fara, kaplanka a kostnice.
St. Martin’s church The oldest architectural monument in the town is the parish church of St. Martin. It was founded in the 13th century, completed in the second half of the 15th century and later reconstructed in accordance with the baroque style. In the 18th century a new organ loft, southern sacristy and an oratory for nobil-

ity were constructed. The tower used to have three bells, which were taken away in 1942, eight years later a new bell called St. Joseph was acquired. There are a few remarkable elements in the church: a gothic tombstone of Jan of Hodice, a renaissance tombstone of Kryštof Vencelík and a late Gothic stone pulpit. The premises include a manse, a chaplain’s room and a charnel house.
Kirche St. Martin Das älteste Architekturdenkmal der Stadt ist die Pfarrkirche St. Martin. Mit ihrem Bau wurde im 13. Jahrhundert begonnen, in der zweiten Hälfte des 15. Jahrhunderts wurde sie fertig gestellt und später im Barockstil umgebaut. Im 18. Jahrhundert wurden ein neuer Kirchenchor, die südliche Sakristei und der Herrenbetchor erbaut. Der Turm hatte drei Glocken, die im Jahre 1942 entfernt und acht Jahre später durch eine neue Glocke, dem Hl. Joseph, ersetzt wurden. Interessante Elemente in der Kirche sind der gotische Grabstein von Jan von Hodice, der RenaissanceGrabstein von Kryštog Vencelík und die spätgotische steinerne Kanzel. Innerhalb des Areals finden sich weiterhin Pfarrei, Kapelle und Beinhaus.

Kostel sv. Kateřiny Filiální kostel sv. Kateřiny Sienské byl založen v 16. století jako německý luteránský kostel. V 18. století bylo přestavěno kněžiště, vnitřní zařízení v 19. století vyhořelo a následně bylo obnoveno. Na vnější zdi chrámu je pozdně renesanční náhrobek neznámého rytíře s erbem polovičního lva. V roce 1995 byl na věž kostela vyzdvižen nový zvon sv. Kateřina. V červnu 2010 došlo k pádu makovice a kříže z věže kostela. Ve spadlé makovici byly uloženy dokumenty z roku 1870 a 1930. Nově vyrobený kříž byl v září 2010 vysvěcen a znovu usazen.
St. Catharine’s church A subsidiary church of St. Catharine of Siena was founded in the 16th century as a German Lutheran church. In the 18th century the chancel was rebuilt. A fire in the 19th century destroyed internal furnishings and these had to be replaced as a consequence. There is a late renaissance tombstone belonging to an unknown knight in the outer wall of the

church embellished with a coat of arms representing an upper half of a lion. In 1995 a new bell called St. Catherine was erected to the church belfry. In June 2010 the dome and the cross fell off the church tower. The fallen dome contained documents from 1870 and 1930. A newly created cross was consecrated in September 2010 and mounted again.
Kirche der Hl. Katharina Die Filialkirche St. Katharina von Siena wurde im 16. Jahrhundert als deutschlutherische Kirche erbaut. Im 18. Jahrhundert wurde das Presbyterium umgebaut. Die Innenausstattung brannte im 19. Jahrhundert aus und wurde anschließend erneuert. An der Außenmauer der Kirche befindet sich der Grabstein eines unbekannten Ritters mit einem Halblöwen im Wappen. Im Jahre 1995 wurde in den Kirchenturm eine neue Glocke, die Heilige Katharina, eingesetzt. Im Juni 2010 stürzten der Mohnkopf und das Kreuz vom Kirchturm herab. Im Mohnkopf wurden Dokumente aus den Jahren 1870 und 1930 entdeckt. Das neu hergestellte Kreuz wurde im September 2010 geweiht und wieder aufgesetzt.

Zámek Zámek stojí na místě středověké tvrze z roku 1513. Původně patřil české šlechtě, která jej vlastnila až do roku 1945. Čtyřkřídlá budova s nárožními věžemi a arkádami byla vybudována v 16. století M. Grimmem, v polovině 17. století bylo druhé patro zámku přebudováno k obytným účelům. Později bylo v zámku umístěno místní muzeum a obrazová galerie. Přilehlý anglický patnáctihektarový park vyzývá návštěvníky k příjemným procházkám. Dnes je objekt zámku majetkem Střediska společných činností AV ČR, v. v. i. a slouží jako hotel a konferenční centrum.
Chateau The chateau is located on the spot where a medieval fortress used to be since 1513. It originally belonged to the Czech aristocracy who owned it until 1945. A four-wing building with corner towers and arcades was built in the 16th century by M. Grimm, the second floor was converted to residential purposes in the middle of the 17th century. Later the chateau housed a local museum

and a picture gallery. The adjacent English landscape park covering 15 hectares invites visitors for pleasant walks. Today the building of the chateau is owned by the Czech Academy of Sciences and used as a hotel and a conference centre.
Schloss Das Schloss steht am Platz einer mittelalterlichen Festung aus dem Jahre 1513. Bis 1945 war es in Besitz des böhmischen Adels. Das vierflüglige Gebäude mit Ecktürmen und Arkaden wurde im 16. Jahrhundert von M. Grimm erbaut, Mitte des 17. Jahrhunderts wurde der zweite Stock des Schlosses zu Wohnzwecken umgebaut. Später fanden im Schloss das Ortsmuseum und eine Bildergalerie ihren Platz. Der angrenzende, 15 ha große englische Park, lädt Gäste zu angenehmen Spaziergängen ein. Heute befindet sich das Schloss im Eigentum der Akademie der Wissenschaften der Tschechischen Republik und dient als Hotel und Konferenzzentrum.und Konferenzzentrum.

Dům J. A. Schumpetera První zmínka o domě je z roku 1728. Až do roku 1902 patřil rodině Schumpeterů. Dětství zde prožil ekonom Josef Alois Schumpeter. V Schumpeterově domě se postupně vytvořily nájemní byty, které obývali nájemníci do 70. let 20. století. V roce 1992 koupilo dům město a začala postupná rekonstrukce. Dům dostal současnou podobu v roce 2003, kdy byl slavnostně předán do užívání. Nyní je sídlem informačního centra, muzea a expozice betlémů.
House of J. A. Schumpeter The first written record mentioning the house dates back to 1728. The house belonged the Schumpeter family until 1902. In this house the economist Josef Alois Schumpeter lived as a child. Several flats were gradually created in Schumpeter’s house, which were rented until the seventies of the 20th century. The house was purchased by the town in 1992 and a gradual renovation began. The current appearance of the house was completed in 2003 when it was officially handed over for use. Nowadays it provides a shelter for the information centre, a museum and an exposition of nativity scenes.

Geburtshaus von J. A. Schumpeter Die erste Erwähnung des Hauses stammt aus dem Jahre 1728. Bis 1902 gehörte es der Familie Schumpeter. Der Ökonom Josef Alois Schumpeter verbrachte hier seine Kindheit. Im Schumpeter-Haus wurden Mietwohnungen gebaut, die bis in die 70er Jahre des 20. Jahrhunderts bewohnt waren. Die Stadt kaufte das Haus 1992 und begann mit seiner fortgesetzten Rekonstruktion. Seine gegenwärtige Gestalt bekam das Haus im Jahre 2003, als es feierlich zur Nutzung übergeben wurde. Heute beherbergt es Touristen-Informationszentrum, Museum und Krippenausstellung.

Synagoga První písemná zmínka je z roku 1693. Její barokní podoba není známá, protože v roce 1824 byla těžce poškozena požárem. Poté byla za pomoci Isaka Wiesenwalda obnovena v empírovém stylu. Dnes slouží k bohoslužebným účelům Církve československé husitské, která je jejím vlastníkem. O životě třešťské židovské obce vypovídá stálá expozice Zaváté stopy. Výstava Franz Kafka připomíná jeho vztah k Třešti. Bývalá židovská synagoga se využívá ke kulturním účelům – slouží jako galerie pro krátkodobé výstavy a konají se zde komorní koncerty.

Synagogue The first written record mentioning the synagogue dates back to 1693. Its baroque appearance is not known since the building was heavily damaged by fire in 1824. Subsequently it was renovated with the help from Isak Wiesenwald in the Empire style. Nowadays it is used for sacral purposes by the Czechoslovak Hussite Church, which owns it. The life of the Jewish community in Třešť is commemorated by a permanent exposition called Forgotten footsteps. The Franz Kafka exposition reflects the writer’s relation to the town of Třešť. The former Jewish synagogue is used for cultural purposes – it serves as a gallery for short-term exhibitions and as a venue for concerts of classical music.
Synagoge Erstmals schriftlich erwähnt wurde sie im Jahre 1693. Ihre ursprünglich barocke Gestalt ist nicht bekannt, da sie bei einem großen Brand im Jahre 1824 schwer beschädigt wurde. Danach wurde sie unter Mithilfe von Isak Wiesenwald im Empirestil erneuert. Heute dient sie den Gottesdiensten der Tschechoslowakischen Hussitischen Kirche, die Eigentümer der Synagoge ist. Vom Leben der jüdischen Gemeinde Třešts berichtet die Dauerausstellung Verwehte Spuren. Die Ausstellung Franz Kafka erinnert an sein Verhältnis zu Třešť. Die ehemalige jüdische Synagoge wird zu Kulturzwecken verwendet - sie dient als Galerie für kurzzeitige Ausstellungen oder zur Veranstaltung von Kammerkonzerten.

Židovský hřbitov Židovský hřbitov s kamennými náhrobky z 2. pol. 17. století leží na konci města při silnici na Telč. Na rozloze asi 3500 m2 nalezneme na 1306 náhrobků. Pohřbívat se zde přestalo v období 2. světové války, kdy byli všichni místní Židé násilně odvlečeni do koncentračních táborů a do Třeště se již nikdy nevrátili. V roce 2003 se zde konal poslední pohřeb, kdy byl do rodinného hrobu uložen třešťský rodák Wolfgang Münch. V roce 2009 byla do rodinné hrobky uložena urna s ostatky jeho manželky.
Jewish cemetery The Jewish cemetery with stone tombstones from the 2nd half of the 17th century is located at the end of the town along the road heading for Telč. The area of about 3500 m2 provides room for 1306 tombstones. Funerals were organized until the Second World War during which all local Jews were dragged into concentration camps and were never to return to Třešť again. The last funeral on the spot took place in 2003 when Wolfgang Münch, a native of Třešť, was interred in

the family grave – 6 years later his wife was buried in the same place.
Jüdischer Friedhof Der jüdische Friedhof mit Grabsteinen aus der 2. Hälfte des 17. Jahrhunderts liegt am Ende der Stadt an der Straße nach Telč. Auf einer Fläche von etwa 3500 m2 sind ca. 1306 Grabsteine zu finden. Mit dem 2. Weltkrieg wurden die Beerdigungen hier eingestellt, da alle hiesigen Juden gewaltsam in Konzentrationslager verschleppt worden waren und nie nach Třešť zurückkehrten. Das letzte Begräbnis auf dem Friedhof fand im Jahre 2003 statt, als die Ehefrau des geborenen Třešters Wolfgang Münch, der sechs Jahre vorher hier beerdigt worden war, in der Familiengruft beigesetzt wurde.

Kozí plácek Náměstíčko mezi ulicemi Úzká a Erbenova získalo svůj název díky tomu, že zde Židé obchodovali s kozami. Před rokem 1840 zde turecký občan Samuel de Mayo zavedl výrobu sirek, které se vyvážely do Rakouska, na Balkán, do Orientu a Číny. Na Kozí plácek projdeme pod prampouchy, rozpínavými oblouky mezi domy.
Kozí plácek (Goat’s square) A small square between streets Úzká and Erbenova obtained its titles thanks to the fact that Jews used to trade goats on the spot. Shortly before 1840 a Turkish citizen Samuel de Mayo started production of matches there that were exported to Austria, the Balkan states, the Orient and China. While going to the square you will pass under straining arches between houses.

Ziegenplätzchen Der kleine Platz zwischen den Straßen Úzká und Erbenova erhielt seinen Namen von den Ziegen, mit denen die Juden hier handelten. Vor 1840 begann hier der Türke Samuel de Mayo, Zündhölzer herzustellen, die nach Österreich, auf den Balkan, in den Orient und nach China exportiert wurden. Zum Ziegenplätzchen gelangen wir unter Schwibbögen hindurch - zwischen gegenüberliegenden Häuserwänden befindliche Stützkonstruktionen.

Vězeňský dvůr Jedná se o pietní místo za budovou radnice. V přední části areálu se nachází Památník židovským spoluobčanům. Ten byl odhalen v roce 1992 jako upomínka na 14. květen 1942, kdy byli Židé z Třeště a okolí odvezeni do koncentračních táborů. V zadní části dvora se nachází plastika Oběti revoluce, kterou vytvořil akademický sochař Jaroslav Krechler. Sousoší je věnované spoluobčanům popraveným v květnu 1945.
Prison yard This is a sacred place behind the building of the town hall. In the front part of the yard there is a monument commemorating Jewish citizens. It was unveiled in 1992 to commemorate 14th May 1942, when Jews from Třešť and its sur-

roundings were transported to concentration camps. In the rear part of the yard there is a sculpture called Victims of revolution created by sculptor Jaroslav Krechler. The sculptural group is dedicated to citizens executed in May 1945.
Gefängnishof Es handelt sich um eine Gedenkstätte hinter dem Rathausgebäude. Im vorderen Teil des Areals befindet sich das Denkmal für die jüdischen Mitbürger, das 1992 zum Gedenken an den 14. Mai 1942, als die Juden aus Třešť und Umgebung in Konzentrationslager verschleppt worden waren, errichtet wurde. Im hinteren Teil des Hofes befindet sich die Plastik Opfer der Revolution, gefertigt vom akademischen Bildhauer Jaroslav Krechler. Die Statuengruppe ist den im Mai 1945 hingerichteten Mitbürgern gewidmet.

Hřbitovní kaple K významným památkám ve městě bezesporu patří i pseudorenesanční hrobní kaple rodiny Schumpeterů Killianů, která je dominantou městského hřbitova. Vybudována byla roku 1888. V jejím podzemí je pohřbeno 8 příslušníků obou spřízněných rodin.
Cemetery chapel One of the most significant historic buildings in the town is undoubtedly the neo-renaissance cemetery chapel of the Schumpeter-Killian family, which dominates the town cemetery. It was built in 1888. 8 members of both kindred families are interred in the underground part of the chapel.

Friedhofskapelle Zu den bedeutenden Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt gehört zweifellos auch die PseudorenaissanceGrabkapelle der Familie Schumpeter - Killian, die den Stadtfriedhof dominiert. Sie wurde im Jahre 1888 erbaut. Hier sind 8 Mitglieder beider miteinander verwandten Familien beerdigt.

Křížová cesta Vede od kostela sv. Martina k Šibeničnímu vrchu. Byla vybudována Franzem Killianem a 4. června 1878 vysvěcena misionáři. V roce 1991 byla kompletně opravena.
Way of the Cross The Way of the Cross leads from St. Martin’s church to the Gallows Hill (Šibeniční vrch). It was built by Franz Killian and consecrated by missionaries on 4th June 1878. In 1991 it was completely renovated.

Kreuzweg Er führt von der Kirche St. Martin zum Hügel Šibeniční Vrch. Er wurde von Franz Killian erbaut und am 4. Juni 1878 von Missionären eingeweiht. Im Jahre 1991 wurde er vollständig renoviert.

Socha bohyně Eset Litinová socha egyptské bohyně Isis - vládkyně světa, která přešla do řecké mytologie jako bohyně Eset - bohyně života a zdraví. Socha pochází z roku 1856 a byla zřejmě odlita v železárnách v Blansku. Socha byla instalována v Krištůfkových sadech (tzv. městský park u vlakového nádraží), později přesunuta do zámeckého parku a od roku 2007 zdobí náměstí Svobody.
Statue of the goddess Isis A cast-iron statue of Egyptian goddess Isis who was supposed to rule the world and was adopted by Greek mythology as goddess Aset – the goddess of life and health. The statue was created in 1856 and was probably cast in ironworks in Blansko. The statue was installed in Krištůfkovy sady (i.e. the town park), later moved to the chateau park and since 2007 it is displayed at náměstí Svobody (the Liberty square).
Statue der Göttin Esset Gusseiserne Statue der ägyptischen Göttin Isis - der Weltherrscherin, die in der griechischen Mythologie als Göttin Esset – der Göttin des Lebens und der Gesundheit - figuriert. Die Statue stammt aus dem Jahr 1856 und wurde wahrscheinlich in der Eisenhütte Blansko abgegossen. Zuerst stand die Statue in Krištůfkovy sady (einem Stadtpark), wurde später aber in den Schlosspark versetzt und schmückt seit 2007 den Platz der Freiheit.

Svatá rodina Sochy Svaté rodiny začaly vznikat roku 2003 při Dřevořezání, setkání řezbářů na třešťském náměstí. Do života byly slavnostně uvedeny v roce 2007 při zahájení vánoční výstavy betlémů. Poutač je umístěn u Třešťského potoka ve směru na Jihlavu.
Holy family Creation of a statue of the Holy Family started in 2003 at Dřevořezání, a regular meeting of woodcarvers on the square in Třešť. It was officially displayed in 2007 on the occasion of the official opening ceremony of the Christmas exposition of nativity scenes. A billboard promoting this statue is located by Třešťský potok (the Třešť brook) in the direction of Jihlava.
Die Heilige Familie Mit der Schaffung der Statue der Heiligen Familie wurde im Jahre 2003 beim Dřevořezání (Holzschnitzen), einem Schnitzertreffen auf dem Třešter Marktplatz, begonnen. Feierlich enthüllt wurde sie 2007 bei der Eröffnung der Weihnachtskrippenausstellung. Sie ist als Blickfang am Bach Třešťský Potok in Richtung Jihlava platziert.

Sluneční hodiny na náměstí Rekonstrukce náměstí a přilehlých ulic začala v roce 2001. Na trojúhelníkovém náměstí, v jehož vrcholu leží reliéf městského znaku, byly v roce 2002 vztyčeny sluneční hodiny. Získaly certifikát největších slunečních hodin ve střední Evropě. Zajímavostí je, že jdou po celý rok přesně, tzn. podle letního i zimního času. A protože naše náměstí bylo rekonstruované podle motta Člověk a čas, tak každý jeho prvek má určitou symboliku.

Sundial on the square The renovation of the square and adjacent streets started in 2001. A sundial was erected on the triangular square, which also displays a relief of the town coat of arms in the vertex of the square. The sundial has received a certificate for the largest sundial. It is a notable fact that it always shows time accurately, be it in summer or in winter time. And since the square was renovated in accordance with the motto Man and Time, each part of it conveys certain symbolism.

Sonnenuhr auf dem Marktplatz Die Rekonstruktion des Marktplatzes und der anliegenden Straßen begann im Jahre 2001. Auf dem dreieckigen Platz, in einer dessen Ecke sich ein Relief des Stadtwappens befindet, wurde im Jahre 2002 eine Sonnenuhr aufgestellt. Sie ist die angeblich größte Sonnenuhr. Interessant ist, dass sie das ganze Jahr über richtig geht und an Sommer- und Winterzeit angepasst wird. Und da unser Marktplatz getreu dem Thema „Der Mensch und die Zeit“ rekonstruiert wurde, hat jeder Bestandteil seine gewisse Symbolik.

Betlémy – třešťský unikát Třešťské betlémářství se pyšní více jak dvousetletou tradicí. První figurky se vyráběly z papíru, následně se přešlo k figurkám dřevěným. O jejich kouzlu se můžete celoročně přesvědčit v Schumpeterově domě. V době od 25. prosince do 2. února si každoročně můžete prohlédnout i betlémy přímo v domácnostech majitelů. Na začátku července navštivte Dřevořezání, mezinárodní setkání řezbářů na třešťském náměst a obdivovat práci jejich šikovných rukou.

Nativity scenes – a unique specialty of Třešť Nativity scenes in Třešť have been produced for more than two hundred years. First figures were made of paper, later they were made of wood. You may assess their charm and beauty in Schumpeter’s house in which they are exhibited all year long. In the period between 25th December and 2nd February you may view the nativity scenes directly in the houses of their owners. At the beginning of July you may visit Dřevořezání, an international meeting of woodcarvers on the square in Třešť. You will certainly be impressed by the work of the adroit hands of woodcarvers.

Weihnachtskrippen – das Unikat von Třešť Der Krippenbau von Třešť kann sich einer mehr als zweihundertjährigen Tradition rühmen. Die ersten Figuren waren aus Pappmaché, später dann aus Holz. Verzaubern lassen können Sie sich von ihnen während des ganzen Jahres im Schumpeter-Haus. Im Zeitraum vom 25. Dezember bis zum 2. Februar können Sie sich jedes Jahr auch die Krippen direkt in den Häusern ihrer Besitzer ansehen. Anfang Juli sind Sie zum Dřevořezání (Holzschnitzen) eingeladen, einem internationalen Schnitzertreffen auf dem Třešter Marktplatz. Bei dieser Veranstaltung können Sie den geschickten Händen der Schnitzer zuschauen.

Dům Siegfrieda Löwyho MUDr. Löwy se narodil v zámožné rodině v Poděbradech a po smrti místního lékaře MUDr. Josefa Konarovského přišel do Třeště. Byl prvním motoristou v Třešti. Jeho synovec Franz Kafka u něj trávil prázdniny v letech 1900 – 1907. Na domě na Malém náměstí č. p. 131 je od roku 2001 umístěna Kafkova busta z dílny akademického sochaře Františka Häckla.
House of Siegfried Löwy MUDr. Löwy was born to a rich family in Poděbrady and after local doctor MUDr. Josef Konarovský died he moved to Třešť. He was the first motorist in Třešť. His nephew Franz Kafka spent his vacations in the house in years 1900 – 1907. In 2001 the house located on Malé náměstí, street no. 131, was embellished with a bust of Franz Kafka created in the studio of the sculptor František Häckel.
Haus von Siegfried Löwy Dr. med. Löwy wurde in einer wohlhabenden Familie in Poděbrady geboren und kam nach dem Tod des örtlichen Arztes Josef Konarovský nach Třešť. Er war der erste Autofahrer in der Stadt. Sein Neffe Franz Kafka verbrachte in den Jahren 1900 – 1907 seine Ferien bei ihm. Am Haus Nr. 131 auf dem Kleinen Platz befindet sich seit 2001 eine Kafka-Büste des akademischen Bildhauers František Häckel.
