The international exhibition of technical innovations, patents and inventions, the INVENT ARENA, will be held at one of the most state-of-art European arenas in the industrial town of Třinec, right in the heart of Beskydy mountains. The main objective is introduction and involvement of market representatives, investors, research departments, innovative companies, universities, high schools, young designers and producers trying to find new approaches waiting for being introduced into use. The best exhibits in each category will be awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals. The Grand Prix award is prepared for the absolute winner of the exhibition. The INVENT ARENA goal is promotion of creativity among young people. The participants will exhibit their last findings and share their experience with science development in many fields of human activities. Efficient intellectual property protection is a very important part of the innovative process. It significantly increases competitiveness of those, who are able to embrace it. INVENT ARENA wants to play an important role in the innovative process. We want to promote the lastest domestic and world-wide techniques to all participants and to emphasize importance of the industrial legal protection for new solutions in use. We also want to make possible to introduce Czech ideas among people in the world and also to see the innovative approaches used abroad. INVENT ARENA will include seminars specialized in intellectual property protection and young innovators support performed by experts from Industrial Property Office and The Czech Academy of Sciences. The fourth international handicraft contest of students from elementary and high schools will be part of INVENT ARENA as well. Students from the Czech republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Germany and Austria will compete in many fields like electrical engineering, metallurgy, mechanical engineering etc. INVENT ARENA is held under patronages of the deputy Prime Minister for Science, Research and Innovation, the Minister of Education Youth and Sports, the Minister of Industry and Trade, the President of the Czech Chamber of Commerce, the President of The Czech Academy of Sciences, and Mayor of town of Třinec.

The promoters are Třinecké Železárny, a company with nearly 180 years of tradition, and Czech Metallurgical Society. Expert warranty is provided by IFIA (International Federation of Inventors Associations), ČSVZ (Czech Union of Inventors and Rationalizers), ČSVTS (The Czech Association of Scientific and Technical Societies) a ÚPV (Industrial Property Office). The main motivation was lack of appropriate events in the Czech Republic. Invention and patent exibitions of a wider extent were uncommon in the past. The last one was held in 2013 but a long-term concept was missing. Accompanying programme of INVENT ARENA includes Prague tour trip with historic sight-seeing for all participants. Host town Třinec, located at Těšín Silesia - border area of the northeast part of Moravia and Silesia, directly neighbouring with Poland and Slovakia. This varied region is connected by the Olše river, running through the town. Besides Těšínské Beskydy which is popular for various trips with nice sightseeings, traditional architecture and folklore are very attractive too. The charm of wooden cabins, traditional crafts and folk traditions makes you forget the border between past and present. Here, in Třinec, the industrial heart of town and charming nature are combined. Within few minutes you can stand at the pick of the mountain after the visit of the heavy industrial plant and relax in the forestry. Multifunctional arena WERK ARENA, in which the exhibition will be held, is considered as one of the most recent arenas in Europe and you can find here the world unique - the longest barrier with LED display.

Basic Provisions The following rules are binding for the Invent-Arena (IA) exhibition. They are issued by the exhibition organisers, namely, Třinecké železárny (Třinec Steelworks - TŽ) and Česká hutnická společnost (Czech Metallurgical Society - ČHS) and co-organisers, namely, Český svaz vynálezců a zlepšovatelů (Czech Union of Inventors and Rationalisers - ČSVZ), Úřad průmyslového vlastnictví (Industrial Property Office - ÚPV), and Ostravské výstavy a.s. (Ostrava Exhibitions - OV). At the IA exhibition domestic and foreign exhibitors can present exhibits in accordance with the thematic content of the announced categories. Principles for participation Applications - invitations to take part in the IA exhibition on the basis of the IA rules are distributed to potential domestic and foreign participants by the organisers. Rules and application forms for the IA are available at the website www.inventarena.cz. The sending of a completed original application form to the address specified in the form is contractual registration for the IA. Sending a form by fax or e-mail is understood as information of the intention to apply. Original application forms must be delivered by the deadlines specified in the forms. Application forms which arrive after the specified deadline will be dealt with separately between the applicant to the IA and the organisers. The organisers shall inform applicants of the acceptance of an application by e-mail including confirmation of receipt of the application with confirmation of the size and type of exhibition space and the date of entering into a contract for lease of space. The organisers reserve the right to reject an offer of participation at the IA. The organisers shall assign an exhibition space according to the requirements of the exhibitors listed in the registration forms and the technical capabilities of the IA. The organisers reserve the right to adjust the price of the lease by up to 10% due to increases in prices which the organisers are unable to influence. In the event of withdrawal from a contract for participation less than 21 days before the opening of the IA, 100% of the price for the agreed exhibition space and other services must be paid.

Acceptance of application forms The supplier reserves the right to manipulate the location of exhibition space according to the requirements of technical implementation. In the event that the capacity of exhibition space is exhausted, clients who cannot be accommodated shall be immediately informed. If the supplier has a serious reason, it is entitled to change a client's exhibition space before the implementation of the exhibit begins without the ordering party being entitled to compensation or a change in the exhibition conditions. Expansion of exhibition space is only possible with the supplier's consent. If a client fails to arrive 20 hours before the official opening of the exhibition (unless agreed with the supplier otherwise), the supplier reserves the right to dispose of the unoccupied space at its own discretion.

Organisational requirements A client shall receive detailed information on the organisation of delivery, removal of exhibits, surveillance of pavilions etc. in the Organisational Instructions before the opening of the exhibition.

Payment Terms The price required for participation at the IA depends upon the size of the exhibition space, equipment of the stand and other services. Participants are obliged to transfer the price of participation in the IA to the organisers' account within 10 days of receiving confirmation of receipt of an application to participate in the IA and a proforma invoice.

Forms of participation in the IA Participation in the IA may be either individual or take the form of joint-participation within a given organisation. Applicants to the IA shall specify all information requested in the application form. The organiser of the IA shall specify the precise location of the stand, equipment and an entry in the catalogue for an exhibitor. An exhibitor is responsible to the IA for compliance with all conditions specified in the contract for the lease of a stand. An exhibitor is not authorised to lease a stand to a third party without the consent of an organiser of the IA.

Services The organisers of the IA shall issue an IA catalogue listing the exhibitors, co-exhibitors and their offers. An exhibitor has the right to place further advertisements in the IA catalogue for an agreed additional fee. An IA organiser is not responsible for potential damages which could arise on the basis of an incorrectly completed registration form. An exhibitor has the right to promote its products or services on its stand without touching surrounding stands. Advertisements outside the stand must be approved by an IA organiser and shall incur an additional fee. Other possible services (must be ordered in advance with an exhibition implementor): - advertised managements presentations during the course of the IA - retrofitting a stand with furniture - placing advertising elements within the space of the hall - design and equipment of exhibition stands - hostess + translators on a stand - installing an internet or telephone connection - other required services

Stands and Equipment An IA organiser shall construct and equip a stand according to a completed application form for participation. An exhibitor can order a standard stand or a stand with additional furnishings. It is also possible to register an individual project for equipping a stand. All changes in accordance with an individual project can be implemented at the latest 30 days before the opening of the IA. All changes are implemented for an additional fee. By confirming the implementation of furnishings for a stand a Report on the Furnishings of a Stand is signed during the IA between an exhibitor and an IA organiser. The exhibitor is responsible for damage to or destruction of individual elements of a stand and is obliged to pay compensation for damages incurred. A condition for the construction and furnishing of a stand is the payment of a fee for the lease of exhibition space and an exhibition stand including furnishings. Exhibits, Transport, Safety, Arrival and Departure, and Insurance An exhibitor is obliged to deliver exhibits including any potential advertisements to the IA hall no later than 10 p.m. on the day before the opening of the IA. The removal of a stand is possible after the official closing of the IA. Transport of exhibits and other elements is ensured at the exhibitor's own risk and expense. Space at the IA hall is ensured by the security services of the hall and adjacent areas. All exhibitors shall receive identification cards in a quantity and under conditions in accordance with the application form. Identification cards may not be passed on to third parties. A condition for the receipt of identification cards granting access to space in the IA hall is the payment of a fee according to the application form. An exhibitor may buy further identification cards for its guests. Orders for identification cards may be submitted up to 30 days before the opening of the IA. Entry for a vehicle into the IA hall can be obtained at the IA reception. An IA organiser IA does not bear liability for damages incurred by an exhibitor as a result of actions of a third party. An exhibitor is responsible for the safety and hygiene of its employees' work when installing, operating and disassembling a stall. The same applies for tidiness and performance of cleaning services during and outside IA opening hours.

Fire Instructions Within the space of a pavilion, smoking and handling open fire is prohibited. All flammable materials (excluding standardised panels of construction systems) used for displaying exhibits must be fire retardant or potentially self-extinguishing. The exhibitor or implementor of an exhibit is obliged to submit a declaration of fireproofing during the exhibition. 12.3 Welding, burning and cladding are not permitted inside pavilions. 12.4 Electrical devices and heaters may only be used in a serviceable and safe condition, approved by the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing, in accordance with their instructions for use. With its exhibit, a client is obliged to submit an inspection report to a technical worker of the exhibition site. In the event that a client does not submit an inspection report, it shall be carried out by an authorised technician of the exhibition site for a fee. 12.5 Work with flammable liquids such as sprays, paints and cleaners, and storing them within an exhibit, is prohibited. 12.6 In pavilions it is prohibited to carry out work which produces small flammable waste (shavings, sawdust). 12.7 Vehicles with combustion engines located in pavilions, if they are a part of the exhibit, must be empty of fuel (except for the quantity necessary for arrival and departure) and disconnected from electrical sources (batteries). 12.8 Activities which include the use of open fire may be conducted in an outdoor area only and a safe distance of at least 1 m from flammable objects must be maintained. Handling flammable liquids is prohibited during such activities. An exhibitor must have a portable fire extinguisher containing 2 kg of CO2. 12.9 Fire safety equipment and resources (fire hydrants, portable fire extinguishers), installed on the premises may only be used in case of fire. 12.10 It is prohibited to park vehicles in proximity to entrances and exits, underground hydrants and in areas where passage through would be narrower than 3 m. If it is essential to park in such areas, the driver may not leave the vehicle. 12.11. A fire hazard discovered by an exhibitor must be immediately reported to the exhibition's organisational office. 12.12 Exhibitors are obliged to follow the instructions of members of the fire patrol and to allow them access to all areas. 12.13 For filling inflatable balloons or advertising banners, only inflammable and non-explosive gases may be used. 12.14 When heating food an exhibitor must pay increased attention to fire safety. Cooking vessels must be placed at a safe distance (min. 0.5 m) from flammable objects, a non-flammable mat must be placed under cooking vessels, and flammable materials may not be placed less than 2 m above cooking vessels. 12.15 Handling pressurised bottles may be carried out by an exhibitor in accordance with chapter 6 of Czech Technical Standard 07 8304. During exhibitions it is not permitted to release gases in pavilions. Gas bottles may not be thrown or rolled and must be secured against movement. 12.16 During assembly, disassembly, and in the course of the exhibition it is prohibited to contaminate pavilions (installation work may only be carried out with hand tools). 12.17 Exhibitors are prohibited from storing any objects in roadways narrowing the width of escape routes. 12.18 An exhibitor is obliged to comply with "Operational Safety Regulations" applicable inside the Třinec Werk Arena. 13.

Claims Claims on services provided by the supplier must be made immediately.

Final Provisions All servicing for exhibitors must be ensured through the IA reception. Photography and filming is only possible with the consent of the IA organisers. Smoking is prohibited on the premises of the IA hall. All claims by exhibitors against the organisation of the IA must be submitted in writing no later than the last day of the exhibition at the IA reception prior to disassembling a stand. A participant of the IA is obliged to respect binding EU regulations and likewise Czech law. The provisions of these rules are binding as of 1/1/2016. The rights and obligations of this contractual relationship are governed by the provisions of the Commercial Code or the Civil Code in accordance with Czech law. Potential disputes shall be appropriately resolved by the Czech courts. A client agrees with the Conditions for Participation, undertakes to respect them and acknowledges that they are legally binding for both parties.

VÝŠKA LÍMCE PRO GRAFIKU JE 40 CM. THE STANDARD COLLAR HEIGHT IS 40 CM FOR GRAPHIC WORK

V případě vlastní expozice je objednatel povinen zaslat organizátorům projekt expozice nejpozději 15 dnů před zahájením výstavy. Před zahájením montáže expozice na výstavišti je vystavovatel povinen předložit revizní zprávu elektroinstalace a potvrzení o nehořlavosti konstrukce expozice.
