ORAL OR POSTER PRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS (ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS) The 11th Indonesian Occupational Medicine Update 2017
1. Participants are general practitioners, company doctor, students of Master of Occupational Medicine, Master of Occupational Medicine, Occupational Medicine Resident, Resident Physicians, Occupational Medicine Specialist, Health and safety expert, Ergonomists, Industrial Hygienist and Company Management that send abstracts for oral or poster presentations before June 15th, 2017. 2. Participants need to fill out the abstract registration form (attached) and submit it along with abstract for oral presentation in Microsoft Office Word format or pdf to the scientific committee of IOMU 2017 email (Person In charge (PIC) dr. Abstract must be submitted in English and in Bahasa, with this following format : Introduction/background, Objective, Methods, Result, Discussion and Conclusion. Abstract text must be in Times New Roman font, 12 pt size, single line spacing, and limited to 300 words (Exclude title of presentation and author information). 4. Submitting authors can choose their presentation preference : Oral or Poster in the registration form. The final decision will be made by the scientific committee. 5. If your abstract cannot be accepted as Oral presentation, it will be considered for Poster presentation. 6. In order to present, the participants of oral or poster presentation must be registered as a conference attendee and must complete the registration process by paying the required fee 7. Abstract for oral presentation can be experimental study, observational or case report study, must be original work and never been published 8. Four criteria will be used to asses each abstract for oral presentations: a. Authenticity / originality b. Structure and Content: Title, Background, Objective/Aim, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion c. Suitability with the sub theme of the 11th Indonesian Occupational Medicine Update 2017 Sub theme: ▪ Work Disability Prevention and Integration ▪ Occupational Health in The Construction Industry
Rural Health Agriculture and Organic Dust ▪ Women Health and Work ▪ Cardiology in Occupational Health ▪ Oil, Gas and Mining Occupational Safety and Health ▪ Emergency Preparedness and Response in OH ▪ Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) 1. Abstract quality (adds to existing knowledge, is innovative, and is ”best practice” based) ▪
9. All abstracts will be blind-reviewed by the scientific committee. All applicants will be notified of the acceptance or rejection of their abstract. The decision is final 10. After July 31st, 2017 the chosen participants, who have the opportunity to do oral presentation in parallel symposium will be notified and have to send full paper material. The submission of presentation materials in power point formed received no later than August 15st, 2017 by the committee.
PERSYARATAN PENDAFTARAN ABSTRAK UNTUK PRESENTASI ORAL ATAU POSTER ILMIAH The 11th Indonesian Occupational Medicine Update 2017 1. Peserta merupakan dokter umum, dokter perusahaan, mahasiswa Magister Kedokteran Kerja, Dokter Magister Kedokteran Kerja, PPDS Kedokteran Okupasi, PPDS, Dokter Spesialis Kedokteran OkupasI, Praktisi K3 (Health and safety expert), Praktisi ergonomi (Ergonomists), Praktisi Higiene Industri (Industrial Hygienist) dan Manajemen Perusahaan yang mengirimkan abstrak untuk presentasi oral atau poster sebelum 15 Juni 2017. 2. Mengisi formulir pendaftaran abstrak (terlampir) dan mengirimkannya beserta abstrak dalam bentuk soft copy file dalam format Microsoft Office Word (.doc or .docx) atau .pdf ke panitia seksi ilmiah (Person In charge (PIC) dr. Ferdianto, SpOk dan dr. Rita Zahara, email:

Abstrak dibuat dalam bahasa Inggris dan Indonesia dengan format Introduction/background, Objective, Methods, Result, Discussion and Conclusion dengan ketentuan jenis huruf : Times New Roman, besar huruf : 12, spasi : 1 line, maksimal 300 kata (diluar judul dan informasi tentang penulis). 4. Peserta dapat menuliskan preferensi presentasi (yang lebih disukai) : Oral atau Poster pada formulir pendaftaran, keputusan ditentukan oleh panitia ilmiah 5. Abstarak yang terpilih mendapat kesempatan untuk presentasi oral, jika tidak terpilih akan dipertimbangkan untuk presentasi poster 6. Peserta (presentasi oral atau presentasi poster) harus terdaftar sebagai peserta seminar The 11th Indonesian Occupational Medicine Update 2017 dan telah menyelesaikan seluruh proses administrasi 7. Abstrak untuk Presentasi Oral dapat berupa studi eksperimental, observasional, atau laporan kasus. Abstrak tersebut merupakan hasil karya ilmiah original dan belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya 8. Penilaian abstrak untuk presentasi oral meliputi: a. Keaslian / orisinalitas b. Struktur dan Isi: Judul, Latar belakang, Tujuan, Metode, Hasil, Diskusi, Kesimpulan c. Kesesuaian dengan sub tema The 11th Indonesian Occupational Medicine Update 2017: Sub Tema: • Work Disability Prevention and Integration • Occupational Health in The Construction Industry

Kualitas dari abstrak (menambah pengetahuan, inovatif, dan best practice) 9. Seluruh Abstrak akan di review oleh panitia ilmiah, setiap peserta akan diberitahukan apakah abstrak tersebut diterima sebagai presentasi oral atau presentasi poster atau belum bisa diterima. Keputusan panitia ilmiah bersifat mutlak. 10. Setelah 31 Juli 2017, peserta yang terpilih akan diberitahukan kesempatan mempresentasikan (oral) penulisan ilmiah tersebut dalam simposium pararel dan perlu menyerahkan naskah lengkapnya (full paper). Penyerahan materi presentasi (.ppt) peserta yang terpilih paling lambat diterima panitia tanggal 15 Agustus 2017.
