4. Attendance of the lectures is not compulsory; however, it is highly recommended. Certain parts of the knowledge are not accessible in books and will be asked at the exams.
5. Attendance of practices is compulsory. Nobody can be absent from any practices – unless due to well-documented reasons. The missed practices should be replaced within one week.

PRACTICAL LESSONS: Week 1:
Endocrinology 1. History taking, physical examination and diagnostic procedures in patients with endocrine diseases.
Week 2:
Endocrinology 2. Case presentation of patients with the most common endocrine diseases (Graves’ diseases, acromegaly, Cushing’s disease).
Week 3:
Nephrology 1. History taking, physical examination and diagnostic procedures in patients with renal diseases.
Week 4:
Nephrology 2. Case presentation of patients with the most common renal diseases (acute and chronic renal failure, nephrosis syndrome).
Week 5:
Renal replacement therapy. Presentation of the Division of Nephrology and the Extracorporeal Life Support Center.
Block practices:
2 weeks of internal medicine block practice on weeks 11-12 or weeks 13-14 (may be changed upon the Dean's decision)
